The app is horrible! 2020 and an app of this type should be a breeze to use. This is a glitchy,counter intuitive piece of garbage. I was able to pull up a pdf in the chrome app and click share and print to the printer, everything seemed great until I noticed the printer was still printing a couple minutes later. It went through nearly the entire tray of paper and printed one line of Wingdings like characters on each page. Hopefully Lexmark will fix the app because it has potential, but clearly doesn’t work (at least not with my 2 year old Lexmark laser printer). ### 1/5 — Wrong age classification *2020-04-11, version 2.9.124* I don’t understand why this app is rated for 17+ while the others from Lexmark aren’t. I’d give it a higher rating if this was corrected. The current version of the App is totally worthless. ### 4/5 — Great App *2016-10-01, version 2.0.1* I can print any PDF from my iPhone or iPad, which makes it very convenient. The one thing that is lacking: you CAN NOT select certain pages to print. So if you have a 30 page document and you only want pages 10-11, you have to print the entire document. Other than that, the app is great. ### 3/5 — It's free *2015-03-25, version 1.11* Didn't find my MX310dn by itself but no biggy. Prints quickly and flawlessly from my iPhone 6 camera but a little glitchy from email attachments and not at all from clipboard. From attachments it wants me to select the paper every time. Please do not make us wait any longer and update this app to allow sending to all of your printer models. I personally use your Prevail Pro705 model, and not being able to print from my iPad is a terrible inconvenience. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Waste of time and profit *2022-10-12, version 2.12.9* I wish I knew how terrible it was to get assistance for a simple getup of printer to laptop. I can’t connect my printer directly to the laptop for some convoluted reason, and 5G is apparently too much for the printer to connect to. The product design is confusion and frustration packed into one clunky expensive and now useless printer. I’ve wasted THREE days trying to fix this, and spend $30 on getting the supplies that are apparently suppose to fix this issue. Each customer service representative gives me different reasons and ways to fix this, and THREE DAYS OF NOTHING BUT WASTING MY TIME. ### 1/5 — Awful experience *2022-08-02, version 2.12.9* I will never buy another Lexmark product. Color printer was hacked and useless not long after placing on home network. No US product support. We spent more than an hour on phone with China, new control board would cost as much as printer. Bought an HP. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iOS 15.1 *2021-11-04, version 2.11.16* I downloaded the app and fired it up and searched for my printer. The app found my printer quickly and showed the correct model number so I thought I was golden. Then I selected the printer to connect to it and after 15 seconds or so I got an invalid device error. I tried several times and nothing worked and there was no indication on the printer itself of anything at all. Anyone know if this is just an iOS 15.1 incompatibility? My iPhone connects perfectly to my network. But this app CANNOT connect to the printer despite having the exact IP address. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. After checking and making sure my Pro4000 and my wireless was "talking", my iPhone found my printer but would not print. After updating the firmware (Click on App Support and then update firmware for iPhone and iPad) it works and prints perfectly. ### 5/5 — Amazing *2013-01-22, version 1.3* I was hesitant after bad reviews but thought I would give it a try with my newly installed printer. It must depend on the type of Lexmark you have. Mine had a sticker right on top that said mobile device printing. I tried it out by printing a picture. It was so fast and came out perfect! ### 5/5 — Works for me *2013-01-15, version 1.3* I almost did not download this software based on bad reviews, but I took a chance and glad I did. When sending a photo to the printer from my ipad, it was printing in under 30 seconds. In the setup, I entered my IP address and that was all I needed for it to find my OfficeEdge Pro4000. ### 5/5 — Works perfectly *2012-12-09, version 1.2* Set up from unpackaging to wirelessly printing from my iPad and MacBook Air took only about 10 minutes! It probably would've only taken 5 mins if I didn't have to download the drivers from their website (this has nothing to do with Lexmark though - MBAs have no optical drives). App works like a charm, found my s415 immediately, printed double side from a document in the Dropbox app flawlessly. Perfect! (I'm not sure why people are giving this app a low rating because their printer isn't supported-unless the printer is supposed to support AirPrint.
