## What is Lexora?

Lexora turns the words you actually run into — in a book, a podcast, a conversation — into flashcards you will remember.

Type a word, or say it out loud. Lexora fills in the translation, the pronunciation and an example sentence, so building a card takes a second instead of a minute. Then it quizzes you until the word sticks.

BUILT FOR REAL VOCABULARY

Nobody learns from a list someone else wrote. Lexora is for the words you personally stumbled over. Add one the moment you meet it, and it is waiting for you at your next study session.

SPEAK A WORD, GET A CARD
Hold the microphone button and say the word. Lexora writes it down, looks it up and fills in the rest. Useful when you are reading on the sofa and cannot be bothered to type.

STUDY THE WAY THAT SUITS YOU
Flip cards in either direction — see the foreign word and recall your language, or the reverse. Words you keep missing are marked as difficult and come back more often. Words you know get out of the way.

ORGANISE WITHOUT FUSS
Group cards into collections: Travel, Work, that novel you are halfway through. Move words between collections whenever you like. Keep as many language pairs as you study.

EDIT ANYTHING
Automatic translations are a starting point, not a verdict. Disagree with one? Change it. Your wording is what you get tested on.

WORKS OFFLINE
Study anywhere. Translation and pronunciation lookup need a connection, but reviewing your cards does not — the whole deck lives on your phone.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind. Your words are stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. We could not read them if we wanted to.
