It’s installed in a closet, so the remote can’t be used. Before installing this App on my iPhone X I read the reviews. What I can tell you is that the reviews with 1 Star are nonsense. Not accurate. They are apparently written by people who just have to say something when they can’t figure out how to make things work. The App works great. You can even turn your unit on & off from the App. This is something other Blueray players can’t do because the network connection is not present when a unit is off. Not so with the LG Blueray I purchased. You can also setup all your third party Apps that play through a Blueray. I would recommend trying this App if you have an LG Blueray player.
