## What is LI Gather?

LI Gather is the place to find and build Christian community on Long Island.

Whether you're new to faith, exploring, or have walked with God your whole life, Gather helps you discover what's happening near you: Bible studies, worship & fitness meetups, run clubs, beach gatherings, and more - hosted by churches, ministries, and everyday believers in your area.

FIND YOUR PEOPLE
• Browse events by category, distance, or map view
• RSVP in one tap, or join the waitlist when an event fills up
• Save events for later and follow your favorite hosts so you never miss what's next
• Keep track of everything you're attending, saving, and serving, all in one place

SERVE WHERE YOU'RE NEEDED
• Browse open volunteer and paid positions at events across Long Island (ushers, greeters, musicians, and more)
• Apply right in the app and hear back from hosts directly
• See your serving history at a glance

HOST WITH CONFIDENCE
• Create one-time or recurring events in minutes, with photos, capacity, and location built right in
• Track RSVPs automatically, with waitlists that fill open spots the moment someone cancels
• Post volunteer or paid roles and review applications without leaving the app
• Message your attendees directly, or post an internal opportunity for your own church (like musicians for Sunday service) without opening it up to public RSVPs
• Request a vendor for your event and connect with local businesses ready to help

SUPPORT CHRISTIAN-OWNED BUSINESSES
• Browse a growing directory of Christian-owned businesses across Long Island
• Reach vendors directly by phone, email, Facebook, or Instagram
• Own a business? Apply to get listed and reach the local Christian community
• Hosts can find vendors available to work their events, right from the app

LI Gather is built by the Long Island Christian community, for the Long Island Christian community. It's free to use, whether you're looking for your next gathering, a place to serve, or a way to grow what God's already given you.
