The ticket system is a pain, but it's inevitable considering it's a mobile game. For around 4 months now, the game has been rendered unplayable due to some unknown reason. It was unique and different from other dating games it wasn’t perfect it had some sexist and as someone else mentioned homophobic parts but overall it was fun. I played this game years ago and wanted to get back to it now, but unfortunately there has not been an update to the game for two years. Due to the lack of an update the player will not get past the first liar intro scene, after the visual it will just freeze. Hopefully they pick this back up and update the server so that it is Playable again since they are still working on the Japanese version, which gets constant updates. So the only hope for this game is if he gets an update besides that it is unplayable. ### 3/5 — Fun game back when it was playable *2021-04-06, version 3.1* I remember playing this game back when it first came out and it was genuinely one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played but once you get past the prologue the game won’t let you past the first clip from chapter 1. They haven’t updated it in years and it is unusable now as a result. It simply gives you a black screen if you try it. They do not respond to contact about it, nothing. This is one of the few games they have that are actually fun and have a likable main character. The Japanese release of this game has so much more content and has been updated regularly. ### 4/5 — Love ! *2021-02-11, version 3.1* I just wanted to say that I’ve actually come to really love this game. It gets the reader involved with the story and I just love the soundtrack and sound effects and the art, it’s not bad at all! But I wanted to write this review to get the attention of the glitch in the app where I’m stuck on a screen and can’t tap anywhere. Hopefully it‘ll be fixed soon! ### 3/5 — New Routes WHEN?!!! *2020-10-30, version 3.1* The JP version of this game has season 4 and 5 plus lovers routes for seasons 2 and possibly 3, out yet we English speaking players have been getting 0 updates since July of 2018 or something like that. I really love this game despite the flaws of it (too short chapters per ticket, some loading issues, etc.) Please give the English version the attention it needs. I really want to play the lover routes and new seasons! 😭 ### 3/5 — Blank Screen *2020-10-01, version 3.1* I really like the way the game is. Using evidence to find out the liar. The problem I have with this game is that after the animation of it all I have is a blank screen. No matter how many times i click on the screen or turn my phone on and off the animation will play and it’ll get stuck like that. I really hope you fix this soon ### 2/5 — Won’t load past the prologue *2020-08-03, version 3.1* I was really excited for this game and even told my sister about it as I was playing the prologue but after I clicked the “continue” button to go to Chapter 1 the game would just go black. I forced closed it, uninstalled and reinstalled on both my iPhone and iPad, but still the same issue. Great game. This week I decided to play again. The game won’t load past the first chapter. The screen goes black. Tapping the screen didn’t help. The WiFi was connected and strong. Great story plots for each character, and it includes a strong independent MC that’s just looking for genuine love. And the fact that their are multiple endings for each character, is even better because there is more content and the question of “what if?” I just have a SMALL PROBLEM, everything was great for a few years but all of a sudden, I can’t play the game anymore. Whenever I tried to start a story, my screen would just go black. So I deleted it and downloaded it again, but I can’t even get to the home screen, it just goes to the black screen again. Please fix the problem soon, I want to play again >~< - Thank you, love the game. ### 4/5 — Videos won’t play *2020-05-14, version 3.1* Until just recently, I have been playing this wonderful game just fine. The stories are so addicting and I want to keep reading forever. But now each a video sequence needs to play the whole screen turns black and I can’t escape or do anything. It works on my old phone just fine but not on this one. I can play videos just fine on my old phone but on my iPhone 8 Plus it won’t play. I really need this problem fix so I don’t need to switch phones in order to play. Besides that the game is just fine and wonderful. ### 3/5 — Love the game but ... *2020-05-12, version 3.1* I played this game on an older phone before and I loved it so much! I didn’t finish the entire route for the first girl and wanted to complete the game this time. But there’s a bug that prevents me from moving onto the second episode of the prologue and I’m really upset because I really want to play this app. I hope this gets fixed because I’d be really upset if I have to drop this game. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t Load! *2020-05-10, version 3.1* Every time I open the app, it takes around a minute to load and I haven’t even been able to play chapter one because it never loads. I’ve waited minutes just staring at a black screen and nothing ever loads! It’s amazing each time I play it but three stars is the highest I could give. The game doesn’t even work for me anymore. I played through the tutorial and junk but it stopped there. I wasn't able to play anything else. It kept giving me a dark screen so I uninstalled and reinstalled it again but that didn’t work. So I uninstalled it, waited a few days and reinstalled it. It loaded and downloaded everything but it stopped there. So I haven’t played this game since the summer of 2019. Please give me my game back. The game play and story are amazingly good so I give it three starts for its gameplay but what good is the game play if the game won’t load? ### 3/5 — Not loading chapter 1 *2020-02-17, version 3.1* I just started playing this a few hours prior and so far it’s great in the prologue BUT I’m having problems with actually starting chapter 1 (or right at the part where the MC has to take an emergency call from her office) and when I clicked on start chapter it isn’t loading and is Just a black screen. I tried exiting out the game and going back it and it starts off with it saying for me to continue and I click continue but it won’t start. ### 4/5 — love it but freezes *2019-12-26, version 3.1* hello i have been playing this game for a while i already finished the men one and i’m on the end of office deception liar number two. i’m on the final chapter but every time i finish the chapter and it’s supposed to go back to the home screen it goes black and then freezes. i’m not sure why and i haven’t been able to find anything on the internet. i have seen other people have this same issue and normally i would delete and download again but i don’t want to lose my data or my purchase since i bought the end side story thing for the men one. any help would be great i’ll keep checking up in different areas. highly suggest except for this one issue. it is fun and i like how it’s interactive. i don’t suggest buying cool point things tho because if u consistently do flirt time they don’t make it take forever before you can move forward unlike some other games i’ve played. plus it’s fun to root for the different people and typically finding out what people do makes u go wowwww what a jerk. so yeah i highly suggest. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I hate to downrate this game *2023-09-23* This is one of my favorite games, but I’m rating it one star because it REALLY needs to get updated… It HASN’T been updated since 5 years ago… I try to log on to my previous game, but it wouldn’t let me log on with my past account. Log in on Facebook and email&password are NOT working at all. I think the game developers are giving up on this game already. I cannot understand Japanese, so this is a real bummer… I only understand some Korean, so I feel sad that I cannot play this game at all when it has great potential (for me at least since I did buy a lot in the past, but now it’s all gone…) ### 1/5 — Needs an update *2021-08-01, version 3.1* The game doesn’t work anymore 😔, I had memories playing this years ago but it seems that the special cutscenes are broken now and just freeze the whole gameplay, can’t get through to any of it and am always stuck on the first screen. I used to have it awhile back but it did the same thing I thought the creators would’ve fixed it by now. However it’s been two years maybe more since anything has been updated with this game. You’d be smart to either take the game off the App Store or update it because so many people are waiting to be able to play it yet again and when they find out that it’s unplayable they become disappointed. ### 1/5 — Unplayable *2020-09-02, version 3.1* I’ve tried playing the game, but at the end of the prologue I started running into issues. After I selected the bad choice at the end the game fades to black and then nothing happens. I’ve had to restart the app in order to play but the issues happened again. I’ve been trying multiple times. Have even deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing. Very unfortunate because I was looking forward to playing. It keeps getting stuck at the prologue. When I tried the bad ending at the prologue that’s when it wouldn’t load so I could try the good ending. Then when i reinstalled the game it got stuck at chapter 1. Unbelievable. ### 1/5 — Money Grabbing Game with App Problems *2019-03-27, version 3.1* It used to be a good game when I first played. After awhile it seemed to have all these timed events that you would be forced to pay money in order to complete. There really was no other way and I ended up spending a lot more than desired. One day the app just wouldn’t work. I don’t remember if it was an update or something, but it won’t work on any of my 2 phones at least with my saved data. I can log in with my saved data, but then it states “Could not connect. Return to Top Page” no matter if I have full bars on my phone and either my 4G LTE or my 280GB+ of WiFi on. I had not only completed both the original liar story and the office and got all the endings, but so got tons of extra stories from those timed events. I now have lost everything I paid for and it’s what bothers me the most. Support can’t help either. So don’t play this game if you don’t want to lose a ton of money only for it to be wasted when the app no longer works. ### 1/5 — Customer Service Not Helpful *2019-01-31, version 3.1* I recently switched to a new device and the game doesn’t seem to be supported on the newer iPhones. I contacted customer service multiple times and they just keep telling me to redownload the app which hasn’t worked. The game hasn’t been updated in 6 months so I think they really need to work out some bugs for the game to work on newer devices. I have logged into this app everyday for probably about 2 years now so this has been extremely frustrating to me. ### 1/5 — Keep losing all progress *2018-02-19, version 2.9* I liked this game, and decided to sign in through Facebook to keep transfer data. When I did, it completely reset all my progress. I was only a little way in, so while I was frustrated, I decided to shrug it off and just fast forward through the stuff I’d already seen. But every time I close out the app, it resets me where I was before, so I can’t progress at all. The flirt time hearts also don’t reset anymore, so I can’t pass any of the challenges. Basically, too many bugs for this to be an enjoyable experience. ### 2/5 — Freezes at first chapter *2023-03-14* So I love this game very much! And I would love to play it all over again but I have the I phone 14 with the latest update and it keeps freezing up at the first chapter. Like I will finish the prologue and then the chapter one mamas boy will come up and it just feeezes. Music drops and everything and it won’t load at all. I would love to give this a five star rating because I did so when I played it when I was younger and it was amazing but I can’t because I can’t even make it to where I can read the first chapter. This is some kind of glitch and I wish it would be fixed. It just shows the “Liar 1” page and never loads the story even when you click on the page itself to encourage it to move. The art, graphics, and gameplay are all amazing. But when I play this game some buttons don’t work for me and I have to wait for it to load. Please fix that. The stories are interesting, the characters are fun, and you really get to look at the details of the mystery of each chapter. I love dating sims and the twist of also making it an investigative app has been so much fun. I finished the first path a while back and played a lot of the holiday stories and some of the lover’s routes. The lover’s routes are fun, but I enjoy the investigation and accusation portions of the paths much more. I really enjoyed the first path and like the second path so far. I restarted my phone but nothing worked. I have had it for almost 2 years and had made a transfer account, but it didn’t work. I’m not sure if I forgot the password, but overall, it is pretty infuriating!! I HAD LIKE 5 MORE CHAPTERS.
