Liberate is a place to return to your center and listen more deeply for your own divine direction. Here, care takes the form of words, meditations, and teachings rooted in Black wisdom traditions—offerings meant to help you feel held, guided, and seen on your spiritual journey.

The Name:

Internally, we call it kemi (pronounced keh-mee) to honor Spirit & The Ancestors. It's a Yoruba name derived from phrases meaning "to be cherished," "to be cared for," and "the one loved by Spirit / The Ancestors." Across these interpretations runs a single thread: divine attention.

We believe every empath on the healing journey is a guide and has medicine to offer the world right now. In a way, we are all kemi—all being looked over and cared for in these strange times.
