### 5/5 — Outstanding!

*2013-01-21*

What a wonderful resource! Review inflections and vocabulary. Perfect for the student.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just collection of words and meaning

*2022-10-29*

It’s more of a study flash card of words. Doesn’t teach any actual grammar. Just has words and their meaning

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2020-09-19*

Wish I could get a refund on this but if I could turn someone away from wasting $4/10 then I did something I guess. Non intuitive and very basic app. Can learn Sanskrit much easier through YouTube and other resources. Give me a refund 😖

### 1/5 — Interesting approach to language

*2019-02-10*

I find myself learning the words, but this experience feels incomplete. There is so much more to language than memorization. I personally need time to write the words, hear the words pronounced, Practice the pronunciation and see the words listed in their many forms; because I learn by experiencing. I hope the developers see my comment and respond with a better updated version before I go searching for a better, more comprehensive App.

### 1/5 — A tripathi

*2017-05-01*

No sound - did not like app nor find it useful. Tried a free app "Sanskrit primer" and found it to be far more useful

### 3/5 — System could be more structured and interactive to enable communication

*2026-07-07*

The levels of course needs to be more structured for step level learning to help communicate, it’s just collection of nouns ,verbs, pronouns. Would be better to have more interactive system .

### 3/5 — 这个无法下载

### 3/5 — OK but could be better

*2018-09-14*

Useful quick reference and quizzes on stem declensions and verb conjugations. The following improvements would make it better:
1) verb conjugation tables arranged in traditional order with 3rd person first
2) noun declension tables should put vocative forms at the end, not after the nominative
3) pronoun reference tables should be rearranged to allow memorization across the number, i.e. traditional order
4) include links from each reference table to the appropriate quiz
5) include references on verb class paradigms, sandhi rules, compound word formation
6) some quizzes like the one on pronouns need to be broken up, they have too much material

### 4/5 — Impressed

*2025-11-15*

This is about exactly what I wanted in a Sanskrit app, just to train vocab and verb conjugations. I think audio would be huge, but this is really great. Just endlessly hammering into your mind the language

### 4/5 — More selectivity

*2019-02-13*

I love the practice I get in declining nouns, etc. The one downside to this app, I’m using this app in conjunction with a class and I would like to be able to select what vocabulary that I want to practice.

Thanks!!

### 4/5 — Excellent simple app for grammar and vocab review

*2013-01-07*

Excellent app for grammar revision. Simple but effective format. Some interlinks between questions and the grammar review section would have been nice. I would also like to see some info on how the vocab used was chosen and graded - were the authors working with a particular set of texts? If so, it would be good to know which ones as this will make a big difference to how relevant the selection is to a particular user's needs.

As far as I'm aware there's nothing else like this for Sanskrit, and it's a bargain at the price!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2026-01-10*

Absolute fabulous app to learn Sanskrit with!

### 5/5 — Convenient, well organised

*2020-08-02*

This is a convenient and well-organised supplement for a beginner in Sanskrit to assist with regular memory work. No audio is the only drawback.

### 5/5 — Best Sanskrit app online!

*2019-07-03*

Wonderful application. It’s helped me to learn and memorize many vocabulary words and verb conjugations and noun endings.
My Sanskrit grammar has improved greatly. I can study anywhere, anytime, any place. Rather than distract with social media, I study and it’s fun!

### 5/5 — Indispensable Sanskrit resource

*2019-05-08*

Time out for transliteration and well organised tables, says how much effort went into development. Literally an app through which one can easily master Sanskrit.

### 5/5 — Sanskrt Learning Tool

*2018-10-25*

This learning tool is really impressive! I have been a student as well as a teacher of Sanskrt for several decades. Learning Sanskrt is a challenge no matter who is learning it. This tool goes along way towards learning and reinforcing that knowledge. It’s like a game and is probably equally good for strengthening and preserving memory function. Job well done!

### 5/5 — An excellent app

*2016-08-02*

This is my most favourite app for Sanskrit. The chunking of information is just right, and the learning is easy and enjoyable.

### 5/5 — Superb!

*2015-10-03*

Practicing Vibhaktis. Amazing work. Very lucid. Strongly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Good for all levels

*2014-09-27*

The many levels permit review of infrequent forms like duals. Six stars, because it works without wifi!

### 5/5 — Good App

*2014-01-20*

A very good app. I wish I had had it years ago.

### 5/5 — Sanskrit scholar

*2013-08-23*

This is the most effective, useful, extensive and well thought out Sanskrit study tool ever! Many thanks to the dedicated Acharyas, this is a great gift!
