### 4/5 — Great but chat don’t work

*2026-06-05*

The information part is good but the chat part doesn’t work. I’ve tried on multiple occasions to start a chat but to no avail.

### 2/5 — Update

*2026-05-15, version 67.0*

Can us now because it requires you to have apple up date 26.6 o egg more which older phones don’t not support
Try hiss as sucks yo fill out a service now you have to call in
Fix it so I can use it like always on my iPhone 11

### 3/5 — New app , says to update, but has a version of iOS not available

*2026-05-14, version 67.0*

Not available

### 1/5 — They are scammers

*2026-01-21, version 50.0*

They are scammers keep away they will never fix or pay for any of your claims keep away don’t buy their policy even if it is a single dollar per year

### 1/5 — Do not use them

*2025-09-03, version 31.0*

Looks great from the outside, until you have a real issue with a covered item. Then it’s waiting around for them to review the technician’s recommendations, just to ignore them and attempt to use “lower priced” parts. Then!, try and charge you for “installation” of the parts… repair should include repair PARTS. What are you really paying for??

### 1/5 — App does NOT work

*2025-08-30, version 29.0*

I signed up for three years; every service call costs $70. The replacement is the cheapest possible, and the assignment of labor is slow. The app does not work!!!! I would not recommend this service.

### 4/5 — Questions are difficult

*2025-08-28, version 29.0*

Difficult

### 1/5 — Rip Off

*2025-07-17*

The company claims to cover your home but READ THE FINE PRINT! They will look for anything to not pay out for services they owe. We purchased a Home Warranty when purchasing our home and when the HVAC system went out, they asked for maintenance records and refused to pay more than $300 of the $4,000 expense, citing that they must have maintenance records from us for a home we had just purchased! Don’t waste your money with this company.

### 2/5 — App needs some updates

*2025-06-25*

App is terrible. Never updates my service requests to know where I’m at on the status of my claim. And the links in the app aren’t clickable. So when I want to call customer service. I can’t click the number it gives to call. I have to get it from somewhere where. Not very functional

### 1/5 — App doesn’t always open

*2025-06-25, version 18.0*

I downloaded this app for the first time on 06/23/25 for iPhone and I have to constantly close and reopen the app for it to work At least 5-6x. Please fix this bug for the iPhone.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Avoid this company & app at all costs

*2026-08-10, version 91.0*

Truly terrible company with a borderline useless app. They send second rate techs who know very little and communicate even less, all while charging you fees every step of the way - horrible.

### 1/5 — Also having issues as a technician

*2026-07-26, version 87.0*

You’re thinking in 2026 they would figure out how to have an app that works properly

### 1/5 — The App Is as Awful as the Warranty

*2026-07-16*

The app has to be updated every time we open it. It’s a minor nuisance compared to the atrocity that is this dishonest company. We’ve submitted reports everywhere possible to no avail— after dumping thousands of dollars, we can’t so much as get a response from the company after submitting our claim and having the technician come out. I’ve spent close to 8 hours on the phone (between June 9-July 16) simply trying to find a resolution for a simple issue of a garage door motor. Please please reconsider investing in this company. The sales people are responsible dive, BUT ALL RESPONSIVENESS ENDS AFTER YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. This is such a frustrating scam and so far the WORST decision we have made as home owners.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-07-01*

Read the reviews. Note that the positive ones are generic but the negative ones are specific in all the ways you can expect this company to screw you. I’m still waiting a week now for a decision on a repair that consists of two $50 parts. Do NOT use this company. Their app only gives general info. And if you call they will not allow you to speak to the service department who makes the decisions on repairs. Was told they have no direct line.

### 1/5 — Terrible!

*2026-06-18*

First time using them and it’s an absolute nightmare. $150 just to initiate the claim - that doesn’t go towards anything. Received a call from LGH almost a week later that in order for the technician to come out and replace the broken part it’s going to be an additional $194 for the install. Now mind you, the technician said he was ordering the part so I think things are being taken care and it turns out the part hasn’t even been ordered yet. Now I have the part but it’s mission impossible to get the technician to come back and when I finally get him on the phone, he doesn’t even know why Liberty charged additional money for the part install. So maybe 2 weeks from the time this all started we might have the stove top repaired… or maybe not because the technician can’t definitively confirm a day or window of time to come back. Fantastic. Out almost $350, parts in hand and still have a broken stove.

### 1/5 — Fraud

*2026-06-04, version 76.0*

Bought to cover things breaking - water heater, AC compressor, dishwasher. Anything over a couple hundred bucks they’d delay for weeks or months and offer a 10-20% pay out. Worthless.

### 1/5 — LHG is pathetic company Stay away from them like plague

1-Star Review: Absolute Fraud – They Left Me to Freeze and Lied Every Step of the Way
This is a fraud company. Plain and simple. They can (and will) put you in a very dangerous, difficult spot without a second thought.
My furnace died during one of the coldest days of the year—temperatures were well below freezing, and the house was dropping fast. I called them immediately because I had a service plan (5 years upfront fully paid - top tier plan) with them. Instead of getting help, I was basically left to die alone in a freezing house.
Every single day I called, the same scripted nonsense:
“Oh, we’re escalating this issue for you right now.”
“We’ve escalated it to a higher team.”
“This is now a priority escalation.”
The next day? The new customer service rep would cheerfully say, “No problem, I’m escalating this for you today!”
When I asked, “Wait—didn’t someone already escalate it yesterday?”
Their answer: “No, there’s no existing escalation on your case.”
Every. Single. Day.
They reset the clock, lied to my face, and left me without heat in sub-zero weather. No technician showed up. No emergency response. Nothing.
You cannot believe a single word these fraudsters say. They are professional liars who collect money for “service plans” and then disappear when you actually need them. They’re happy to take your monthly payments but will happily let you freeze rather than lift a finger.
Avoid this company at all costs. If your heat goes out in winter, they will not save you—they will leave you to suffer while repeating the same fake “escalation” lie day after day.
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. 0 stars if I could give it.

### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs

*2026-02-08*

Liberty is a borderline scam. Despite their prices, which aren’t competitive, they provide garbage customer service. From the ridiculously long wait times to have a repair “assigned,” to the terrible contractors they send out (if they send anyone at all), chances are that you will not get things resolved to your satisfaction.

*search for class actions regarding this company - they’re coming

### 1/5 — Fraudulent

*2026-02-08, version 53.0*

This company is worse than the prior home warranty I had. I think the 4+ rating is rigged. They take unreasonably long time to adjudicate the claim and that too find ways to not repair or replace. Plus their service call fee is too high too. I would give zero star.

### 1/5 — Bad All around

*2026-01-29, version 53.0*

The app is very mediocre. What’s even worse is how terrible this company is. Stay away!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-08-14, version 91.0*

Easy to use. And you don't have to log in on a browser.

### 5/5 — LHG is trying to improve

*2026-07-21*

I had a really bad experience with a specific claim. I posted a review on AppStore. Hoping that if the leadership does care about Rating and customer feedback they will one day reach out to me. Well that actually happened and one of the senior director called me and tried to resolve the matter amicably. I hope they really improve their ways of working and I definitely think it will help them with overall business. It will also change people’s general perspective of the towards an industry which is quite negative right now. So yeah I would again recommend this company for home insurance and will keep the App Store community updated if anything changes.
