You can search and place holds. All of this is available online through your browser. The most important function, notifications, is non-existent so you get no reminder of due dates or when holds are in other than trying to monitor your junk email. Even that has to be "activated" by a librarian. Looks new and modern, but functions as bad as the app. ### 4/5 — App log me out *2026-06-04, version 3.0.4* Earlier today I can access my app okay but then a 2 or 3 hour ago it log me out and I can’t get back in ### 2/5 — Multiple Cards *2026-03-31, version 3.0.4* Love this app, but unfortunately what keeps hindering my abilities is the glitch it has when alternating between cards/accounts. After clicking on a different account or card, that card will the reflect the same name as the previous card or account I was on, ultimately and eventually appearing as if all three account or cards on the app belong to one person. Therefore, I am unable to distinguish exactly which card is which in order to know whose account I’m operating under. ### 2/5 — Needs an update badly *2025-11-10, version 3.0.4* When it works, it’s great. I like that it allows me to easily toggle between my family’s cards and order books for pickup. However lately it has been crashing or changing the cards so it looks like they are all under the same name and I can’t access the other accounts. Aupee glitchy and needs an update! ### 2/5 — Functional *2025-10-21, version 3.0.4* It works most of the time. The location never actually show the library that is closest even with the location services on. Also, I wish it had a dark mode as browsing the app in light mode hurts my eyes. ### 2/5 — Great when it works *2025-09-08, version 3.0.4* When it works, this app is easy and convenient. It makes the state’s wide catalog of books and media available to everyone. I can check whether a title is available, request a copy even if it’s on another island, have it delivered to a library of my choice, and get updates when it is in transit or ready for pick up. But lately the app is unpredictable. It stops working for days, even if you log in again, restart your phone, delete the app and reinstall, etc. ### 3/5 — Pretty good *2025-05-16, version 2.4.9* You can renew books and put books on hold/ check what books are available in your specific library. Make this really convenient. But there’s a ton of glitches - constantly have to delete the app and log in again. Big issue is the server-side; over half the time the server gives no response. Times out frequently. It’s terrible. ### 3/5 — Reinstalled to resolve login problem *2024-12-08, version 2.4.9* I put in the wrong pin when I tried logging into my account the first time. After that, the app kept giving login error messages, even though I corrected my mistake. I deleted and reinstalled the app, then put in my correct info, and then the app let me log in. But now for the last year it has not let my. It just says one or more of my books can not be renewed. I enjoyed using this app before though. ### 1/5 — App Not Functional *2024-08-03, version 2.4.9* Users of the app were informed several months ago that the app’s original developer, a third party, and HSPLS were in some sort of disagreement. The best features of the app were disabled essentially msking the app of little use to library patrons. The app should either be redeveloped into something useful or taken off the App Store. ### 4/5 — Great for borrowing and putting holds on books *2024-07-18, version 2.4.9* Has a few bugs but works perfectly for checking on my borrowed book due dates and putting holds on books and checking to see if my holds are ready for borrowing. I use it all the time Nice for browsing books to borrow. Has nice summaries of books ### 1/5 — Login issues *2024-07-16* Keep getting error messages when I try to log into my account, even after deleting & re-downloading the app a few times. Also, when I used a prior version, I liked that I was able to toggle between my personal account and my son’s account. This current version doesn’t allow that. Please fix the login issue and consider returning the option for multiple accounts. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2024-06-04, version 2.4.9* Loved the old version of this app. That one has since become obsolete and I was told this is what the library is currently using. My card number and pin is correct, however I’m having issues logging in. I can’t even login without it telling me “Oops! Something went wrong while processing the data.” Tried removing and reinstalling the app and same thing. I can get in just fine on the website.
