One thing I think would make this tool even better is if the file name displayed when doing the comparisons and after you’ve selected a file. No more database issues. Mergen der Sicherungsdaten der aktuellen Version der JW Library funktioniert wieder top. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️5. Stern wäre noch, wenn man irgendwie beim Mergen und der Abfrage der Konfliktlösungen besser dargestellt bekommen könnte, wie Version A und wie B ist, bevor man sich entscheidet. Bei Notizen ist es kein Problem, da es angezeigt wird und man hier nach dem Datum gehen kann bzw das gleich automatisiert nach Datum wählen lassen kann. Aber bei Markierungen oder Lesezeichen muss man nach Gedächtnis gehen, welches wohl aktueller ist. Dabei fällt auch die Zuordnung schon schwer, wenn man versuchen möchte in der Publikation nach dem entsprechenden Eintrag zu suchen. Die Publikation ist klar. Aber welche Markierung gemeint ist, ist (außer in der nwt wegen Kap. Angabe und Identifiyer=Vers) bei anderen Publikation für den Laien nicht möglich. ### 5/5 — Great ! *2023-09-27, version 0.7.5* Very useful app! Thanks ! Should be 8 is 13. You might need to upgrade to a newer version of JW Library first ### 1/5 — Useless. *2023-05-31* Why would anyone download this when it is built into JW Library already? In the Personal Study part of JW Library, you upload to a cloud service like one drive, iCloud, or google drive, then download that to the other device. Easy. Been doing that the whole time. Also, for some reason if you keep your backups in Google Drive, you can select files. Works fine with one drive. But not Google Drive. I’ve never been able to figure out how to select the backup from Google Drive.. the files won’t let you select them. ### 3/5 — Klappt leider nicht zuverlässig *2024-07-14, version 0.7.6* Ich mache Backups von meiner Library auf einem iPhone 12 Pro Max und einem iPad 12,9 Pro, 3. Generation (2018) und speichere sie in OneDrive in einem dafür erstellten Backup-Ordner. Die ersten Male hat das mergen super funktioniert. In den letzten Wochen habe ich massive Probleme, im Library Merger das jeweilige Backup auszuwählen. Nach etwa einer Minute erscheint die Meldung „Da lief was schief“. An die in der Meldung angegebene Email-Adresse habe ich nun mehrfach den Bug Report geschickt. Heute habe ich dann nach mehrmaligem Probieren zwar die Backups laden und mergen können. Jedoch konnte ich auf dem iPad die Sicherung in der JW Library nicht wiederherstellen. Das gleiche Problem hatte ich vor wenigen Tagen auf dem iPhone … Auf beiden Geräten ist die aktuellste Software-Version installiert (zurzeit iOS 17.5.1, bzw. iPadOS 17.5.1). ### 3/5 — Deletes Playlists *2024-07-10* The app is soooo good and almost perfect. They haven’t given it playlist support yet. Which is very unfortunate, considering how useful playlists are. If you have playlists, don’t use this app or it will delete them. Once they add playlist support, this app will be absolutely crucial to anyone with multiple devices. ### 3/5 — Sigue fallando!!! *2023-09-03, version 0.7.5* Edito He desinstalado la versión y la he vuelto a instalar al ver que había una actualización. Cuando selecciono la copia que tengo del ipad me indica que revise que la versión del library sea la última. Lo he revisado y es exactamente la misma que tengo en el iPhone (la última publicada 14.0.2 de JW Library) La copia de seguridad del iPhone la acepta y al seleccionar la del ipad da el error: Backup not compatible The version of the backup you are trying to import is not supported anymore. Make sure to export the backup using the latest version of JW Library. No encuentro forma de solucionarlo. I do most of my work on the iPhone and iPad so once I sync them I export the database to the desktop and laptop. It's great having everything INSYNC! This app has been a lifesaver more than a few times. I will never delete it. Mit einer kleinen Bitte… *2024-09-27, version 0.7.6* ich habe mir vor ein paar Tagen den Library Merger heruntergeladen und heute einige meiner Backups zusammenzuführen. Das funktioniert von Grundsatz her super. Vielen Dank für deine Mühe bei der Entwicklung. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass Notizen aus den Backups nun teilweise vielfach vorhanden sind. Bei einigen Einträgen wurde ich beim mergen gefragt welche Version beibehalten werden soll – bei vielen Notizen wurde ich aber nicht gefragt und nun sind sie mehrfach vorhanden. Das betrifft offenbar besonders die Studienanmerkungen die in der Studienbibel direkt mit geliefert werden (also nicht persönliche Einträge sondern die schon „ab Werk“ vorhandenen).
