### 4/5 — Love it but would love an Apple Watch option

*2026-08-25, version 5.1.1*

Like I said in the title, this app is phenomenal, but I would love to have the ability to get alerts on my Apple Watch.

### 2/5 — Alarm not reliable

*2026-08-24, version 5.1.1*

Quite often the alarm does not sound on my parent phone. I find this to be dangerous fault as this could cause a significant medical emergency or even death.

### 2/5 — App not working since latest update

*2026-08-23, version 5.1.1*

App worked great up until the update last week. Since then I haven’t gotten any readings from my husband’s sensor. Very disappointing. I’ll call customer service but it is still irritating.

### 3/5 — Missing data

*2026-08-18, version 5.1.1*

It’s great that my wife is able to share her Glucose chart, allowing me to remotely monitor her glucose levels. However, I don’t understand why I don’t see the same chart she does; hers displays her recorded insulin, carbs, exercise, etc, whereas my view does not, so I can’t tell when I see a spike whether or not she has treated it. Conversely, if I see a sudden drop, can’t tell if she inadvertently administered too much insulin.

### 2/5 — It’s only good for current numbers.

*2026-08-17, version 5.1.1*

I’m very disappointed with the severe lack of data in the link up app. I’m a caregiver for my mother and I barely have any data to work with. My mother’s phone is the reader for her CGM’s, but I cannot view 1/10th the data her direct app does. When alerts do occur I have to speak to my mother directly to find out why we are getting alerts.

### 3/5 — Language localization issue

*2026-08-12, version 5.1.1*

Hello,

I would like to report a language localization issue in the LibreLinkUp app.

I am currently in the United States and use a U.S. Apple ID. My iPhone’s preferred language order is:

1. Simplified Chinese
2. English (United States)

In LibreLinkUp, the language is also set to Simplified Chinese, but the app interface is displayed in Traditional Chinese instead.

This appears to be a localization/language-selection bug in the LibreLinkUp app. The app recognizes the language as Simplified Chinese in the settings, but the actual user interface is rendered in Traditional Chinese.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there is a workaround or when a fix might be available?

Thank you.

### 3/5 — Cut-and-paste support

*2026-08-11, version 5.1.0*

Somehow, I think Apple is downgrading the notifications from this app because I don’t get them consistently anymore. It’s frustrating to find out two hours later that there was an alarm.

To the devs, I don’t need your cut-and-paste reply, I’d just like to hear that you will look into this.

### 3/5 — Very Limited

*2026-07-23, version 5.0.1*

It only shows you data for the past 12 hours. You can’t see back days or weeks. Therefore, as a spouse or care giver, you can’t monitor trends and such to help with caregiving. The Linkup app should show the long term graphs and such like the Libre wearer has access to.

### 2/5 — Needs improvements!!!

*2026-07-23, version 5.0.1*

This app seems like an awesome idea but they need to seriously work on the connection issues!! My husband and I just became caretakers for my mother in law who has diabetes. We wanted to be able to get notifications in the night in case she goes high or low and so far all we have done is fight to maintain a connection. We even called the support line and still we are getting disconnected. This app is too
Important to cut corners and not do everything possible to make sure it works.

### 4/5 — Good app, needs widgets

*2026-07-22, version 5.0.1*

Please add widgets, this will allow even better monitoring of blood glucose levels. Other than that the app is great and functions well

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2026-07-22, version 5.0.1*

I depend on this app for my teenage son. He’s a Type 1 and doesn’t wake for his alarms. I use this to alert me so I can make sure he’s okay and this app fails. It will go okay for a while where I’m getting alerts then it’ll stop for days or at this point weeks! It’s very scary to think I could miss something trying to depend on this to alert me and it’s not even working!

### 2/5 — 😒👎🏻

*2026-07-15, version 5.0.1*

I use the LibreLink to follow my wife’s numbers but recently all I get is a page that says “not for treatment…” or something of that sort. In the past I got reliable numbers but this problem has persisted since my wife’s new sensors arrived a couple of weeks ago. I offloaded the app and downloaded it again thinking there might have been a new update for the app. Exact same problem. I get notifications but when I check the numbers all I get is a signal loss page. I’m going to go with “brand X” next time we see her endocrinologist we’ll get a script for the other brand sensor.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect properly to libre link up

*2026-07-15, version 5.0.1*

We have recently started using freestyle libre 3 plus and as parent not getting the notifications of her highs and lows on time are crucial. There’s always a 2-3 hour gap in between data uploads and notifications don’t arrive on time either. There’s no option to change to a sound loud enough that i can hear.

### 1/5 — Not getting any notifications

*2026-07-15, version 5.0.1*

We got switched from a different sensor due to insurance, this app has been nothing but a disappointment, the developers really need to get the app running properly because it doesn’t sync at all with the sensor readings

### 1/5 — Sensor perde o sinal

*2026-07-13*

### 1/5 — Horrible update

*2026-07-12, version 5.0.1*

Never works always loses connection and never connects back have to do the whole process of sending a request for it work for a bit again

### 1/5 — Décevant après 1 an d’utilisation

*2026-07-09*

### 4/5 — LibreLinkUp Alarm Not Working?

*2026-07-08, version 5.0.1*

The app works well, but I have a question. My grandmother uses the Libre app and I use LibreLinkUp to monitor her glucose. She gets alarms for high and low glucose, but on my LibreLinkUp app I only receive notifications, not alarms. Is this expected, or is there something wrong with my app?

### 3/5 — Options Limited

*2026-07-08, version 5.0.1*

I admit, I’m just coming from the Dexcom Follow app, so I’m coming into this with a pretty heavy bias.
But the pros are that this app looks nice, it updates often, and the Libre itself has been accurate.
On the cons list, I can’t adjust any of my alarms for highs and lows, nor can I set the parameters for those highs and lows. I wish it gave me any control besides “on” or “off.” Highs and lows are relative to the person, and I’d rather an alarm not go off for the person dipping to 69 for one minute. Maybe I’ll get used to it, but it’s a small feature that could change a lot.
Overall, the app is good quality, but for those of us who spend a lot of time and energy caring for someone with T1D, I think a few modern tweaks could make this app much more competitive with other brands.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No low notifications

*2026-08-22, version 5.1.1*

Husbands app updated last night and now I get no notifications for low blood sugar. His sugar got to 60 before I knew it. Only because his phone went off and I finally heard it.

### 1/5 — Lost of connection

*2026-08-21, version 5.1.1*

Since the update every 5 minutes or so it keeps losing connection to their libre, before the update app was great but not now. I’m give app a one star once fixed I’ll update review

### 1/5 — Inadmissible!

*2026-08-08*

### 1/5 — Very poor and no analysis

*2026-08-08*

Considering oem and the kind of data and resources available- no valueble feature available- look at free alternatives like gluro - the detailed graphical views they are providing- apple health integration- do know on which era they are living

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-08-06, version 5.1.0*

This app is NOT working

### 1/5 — Lot of work improvements needed!

*2026-08-04*

The experience has been disappointing. I’m using the CGM (different brand) for almost 4 months now and this LibreLinkUp was something we thought we will try and see how it works. The data is very limited. You cannot track or go back to check previous days. What you see on the screen is all you get. You can’t track when insulin was taken or food was eaten. Never using this again.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2026-08-04, version 5.1.0*

The newest update won’t show detailed information or any information. Tried unlinking and relinking. Deleted and reinstalled. Roll it backwards or fix it asap so parents of diabetic kids can access what is needed.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t always work

*2026-07-26, version 5.0.1*

Great when it works, not working for over 12 hours and nothing online to say there’s a problem. Apple replied but still after days no response from the support page!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t always work

*2026-07-21, version 5.0.1*

Great when it works, not working for over 12 hours and nothing online to say there’s a problem

### 1/5 — Persistent numbers out by 2-3 mmol

*2026-07-17, version 5.0.1*

Loads of false lows (not attributed to laying on sensor). Over dramatic trend prediction of low so invariably ends with BG bouncing back up again. It would not trust the Libre with my life or dosing insulin or treating a low

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great but can be improved

*2026-07-24, version 5.0.1*

It would be helpful if you can also integrate or connect the data from the app to Apple health.

### 5/5 — Second level of alerts

*2026-05-15, version 5.0.0*

LibreLinkUp allows a second level of alarm when my glucose goes lower than the alert level on LibreLink.

### 5/5 — Please make Lock Screen Widget!

*2026-05-10, version 5.0.0*

The app works as titled & as expected. Thank you for developing this! Could you please also make an iPhone lock screen widget so I can see quickly how my child's numbers are doing?

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2026-04-27*

It would be nice to have a lock screen widget

### 5/5 — Widget and window.

*2026-03-08, version 4.17.0*

It would be nice to have a widget for the home screen for the reading of the glucose level. It would also be nice to have the ability to see it on an iPhone little top mini window and maybe even on an iwatch

### 5/5 — Life saving app

*2026-02-28, version 4.17.0*

Now I can monitor my love ones readings just in case they are unable to notice them. Love this app!!!

### 5/5 — My Love

*2026-02-21, version 4.17.0*

Helps keep him alive

### 5/5 — Review update

*2026-02-18*

I originally posted the review below. But since then the company contacted me and all my issues have been resolved. Thank you LibreLinkUp! Every time I go to the app it tells me to login. Then it immediately says that I have attempted login too many times and try again later. When I have actually logged in or attempted to login once! Very frustrating! Especially since the alarm is going off and I can’t login. Originally I logged in once then just went to the app all of the time without having to login. Something changed when I upgraded my phone. Now I can’t get in at all. And I have deleted the app and reinstalled it.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback!

### 5/5 — Aide
