### 2/5 — Not awesome

*2025-07-20, version 5.2.2*

I used to use iSH, but that dev just gave up the ghost at some point and decided they DGAF anymore, so we’re all just out of luck. So I picked up this, thinking perhaps it would be my salvation for all my broken workflows… Who makes a terminal that lacks the regular term keys that one needs? Where are the tab, ctrl, alt, Function keys, etc.? This app may have ssh, which makes it one star better than what I have rated iSH, but if I can’t do the other term-y things that I need to do, this is unfortunately no good to me.

### 3/5 — Compare to termux.0.118.0 on android.7.1.1

*2022-08-24, version 5.2.2*

LibTerm version 5.2.2 (1), May 1, 2020 at 9:36 AM from App Store.
Apple iPad (7th) iOS 13.1.1 Darwin kernel 19.0.0 root:xnu-6153 _ARM64_
Uses only version 7.0 of clang, currently I have termux at clang-14 and 16.0 ... Compiled some C files, but noticed target llvm. Used tar xzf, installed (Ipad $ package install systeminfo, sleep), and cmdguide, gitdl would not install.

### 1/5 — 400+ MB App size

*2024-11-29, version 5.2.2*

400+ MB Size can be Justifiable and Acceptable if it was an Operating System but not an App !!!

### 1/5 — ABANDONED

### 1/5 — Dead App Should be Removed

*2021-08-11, version 5.2.2*

You will notice the last update was over a year ago. In my case its been two years ago. I went to GITHUB where you’re supposed to be able to contact the developer. Sent 3 emails with no response.

Don’t try and use the app, after I installed it, I noticed “iPhoneOS sdk” was some how installed. I couldn’t use it because my phone is not jail broken (I think). I have no tools to determine this, but just having this application on my phone could provide hackers who do know how to access your phone and use it is a big concern.

I’m not sure if the developer even exists anymore. GitHub should ensure developers haven’t left their site, leaving everyone who downloads something from the AppStore hanging without away to report problems.

DON’T BOTHER TRYING TO USE THIS

### 1/5 — SSH is broken

*2021-02-19, version 5.2.2*

### 1/5 — k.

*2020-10-11, version 5.2.2*

no vim. vi. nano. no way to edit a text file. a terminal program without bare bottom essentials?

ive often downloaded this because its a good idea.

but after 5 min i often ask why this exists. it doesnt actually work. theres no commands. no usability. i wanted it to work but the fact is what the fact is. this isnt a terminal on iphone. it just isnt. its a black box with a few specific commands and well. thats it. its not linux. osx. or even usable.

really? no basic text editors? they are drag and drop open source...

### 1/5 — This app looks like amazing but!!
