## What is Lichtwechsel?

Lichtwechsel translates the position of the sun into what you actually see outside: golden hour, afterglow, blue hour, last light and the felt night. It depends on the season, the clouds and whether you stand in the city centre, on the outskirts or in the countryside.

TODAY AT A GLANCE
One sentence tells you when the sun sets and when it starts to feel like night. The dial shows the sky as a colour ring, the outer ring the compass direction of sun and moon.

COLOUR CHANCE
How colourful will the sunset be? Lichtwechsel reads the clouds by height: high and mid-level clouds catch colour, low clouds block it. For every sunrise and sunset of the next seven days, with two weather sources compared.

FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
- White balance in Kelvin for every phase, calculated with the clouds
- Light moments: Milky Way, moon in twilight, Belt of Venus, purple light, aurora, rainbow, fog
- Shadow length and starting exposure values
- Direction of sun and moon on the map and as a live compass

ALWAYS IN VIEW
- Notifications before good light, only when it is worth it
- Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
- "Next good light" widget
