The scanning is good, but the same as any other apps as it uses the Apple APIs. Apart from that this app has no other features: you cannot rename a scan, edit the plans, the various 3D/walk views are either not working or useless, the subscription only buys you 5 publushed scans, zzz

The ability to scan the rooms on the phone is awesome - took a bit to get the hang of it but I got a nice result.  Editing is a bit clunky and i couldn't get rid of spots where it manufactured an "extra" room, but what I got was usable.

However, something is seriously wrong with the desktop app - it is super sluggish, shows the rainbow ball frequently, and activity monitor shows it is consuming quite a lot of CPU even when it is doing "nothing," just showing a PDF report on the screen.

The creation of a 2-D floor plan is not too bad given the generic nature of apples liar technology but once you have done a scan and you need to tweak some things like reverse doors or change walls that weren’t scanned properly you are out of luck. This is very poor in this regard. I have no need for 3-D models and as a 2-D floorplan creation software it is sadly lacking.

It works fine. But the application language is Vietnamese and cannot be changed. and the settings section should be improved and there should be an export option. Also, when I left the application, my project disappeared.

My response to the developer's answer:

1. The language change option does not appear via iPhone>Settings>5dplan.
2. As the second export option, there was only the house option the other day, today the USDZ option seems to have been added. There is no pdf option.
3. The main language setting of my phone is Turkish, but the menus of the application are in Vietnamese and cannot be changed.
4. image, export, view angle options can be improved. The controls could be more user responsive.

I am going to be purchasing the lifetime deal because I think this could be awesome.

The lidar recognition is best in class, no seriously.  Absolutely stunning.  I’ve used multiple lidar apps for real estate and such and this thing is just as good if not better (recognizes objects and is so accurate)

The measurements are also almost identical to floor plans, which is wild to think.

The object library is actually pretty vast, would love the ability to add a custom object that I’ve 3d scanned myself.

I love the export options, very nice to be able to export to USDZ.

Now for the bad.

The UI: is VERY bad.  Please read dev.

Adding objects:  So many steps to rotate, move and center something where I should be able to use apple’s built in pinch to scale, two fingers to rotate, drag, etc.  I shouldn’t have to be in certain modes.  There should be just two modes (view and edit).

The pinch to zoom that is implemented is VERY sensitive.  A small pinch zooms all the way to the floor and is also laggy on my iPhone 15 pro.

That’s about it.  I know this app is brand new, and there will be changes.  I’ll update my review with changes!

Dommage, planté dès le premier plan, une fois toute la maison scannée il est impossible d’ouvrir le résultat ni sur l’appli smartphone ni sur l’ordinateur !

Doesn’t offer the ability to change units of measurements, touch controls are extremely finicky and unreliable and it’s for these reasons I’m uninstalling this app and canceling the subscription.

Says it won’t work on my phone - I checked before I downloaded if my phone has LIDAR scanning, it certainly does. 
App is useless because it says my iPhone 13 does not have LIDAR. 
Good thing there are at her apps that know my phone is compatible. Imagine if this was the only app that scanned rooms- so I just gave up. I found a few other apps, just deciding which one has better features for lifetime purchase.

I’m continually disappointed with apple for allowing publishers to have in app purchases but not describe the details in the products description in the store.   This app is free for 3 days.  As neither this information not the ongoing subscription costs were not described in the App Store, I won’t be trying this one out.

Une super application qui m’a vraiment aidé pour la rénovation de ma maison. 

J’ai pu scanner les différentes pièces, obtenir rapidement les plans et conserver les photos associées à chaque espace. C’est très pratique pour avoir une vision claire de la maison. 

Simple, rapide et vraiment utile pour mes travaux !

Application incroyable ! 🤩Lidar Scanner 3D m’a énormément aidé à obtenir un plan 3D précis de mon appartement. L’utilisation est très intuitive, le scan est rapide et la qualité du rendu est impressionnante.
J’ai pu visualiser les dimensions et l’agencement de mon espace, ce qui m’a beaucoup facilité la planification de mes aménagements🥰
Je recommande cette application à toute personne qui souhaite créer un plan 3D facilement et efficacement. Un vrai gain de temps !👍

Is this only able to change the paint color/ texture of the interior walls or can you also change the exterior of the building?

When you paint a wall, the color and texture will apply to all sides of that wall. This means the exterior and interior will share the same finish. If you’d like different colors for each side, a common workaround is to create a separate exterior wall and assign it a different color or texture.
