## What is Lidhra?

Lidhra is a small, fast download manager that speaks your device's native language and keeps your business your own.

THE SHORT VERSION
Paste a magnet or a direct link. Watch it arrive. Open it, play it, share it, or find it in Files. That is the whole app.

TWO WAYS TO TRAVEL
By carriage: connect a debrid account you already have (Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, TorBox or Premiumize). The cloud does the fetching on its own servers and hands your device a plain, encrypted HTTPS link. Fast, quiet, and your device never talks to strangers.

On foot: no account? No problem. Lidhra can download a magnet directly on your device, piece by piece, from other people who have the same file. It works while the app is open, prefers Wi-Fi, and keeps sharing switched off unless you turn it on.

THE FINE PRINT, TOLD PLAINLY
Direct downloads use BitTorrent, so other participants can see your device's address while a transfer runs. If you would rather stay invisible, use a debrid provider and let the carriage do the travelling. Lidhra provides no content and works only with links you bring.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-10

Once upon a time, a little magnet link knocked on Lidhra's door. It had no debrid account in its pockets and no cloud carriage waiting outside, only a long name and a lot of hope.

"Sorry," said the old gatekeeper. "No account, no entry."

In this version the gatekeeper has been replaced by a doormat that says Welcome. Paste the magnet, tap Download, and Lidhra fetches it right here on your device, piece by piece, from friendly devices around the world. When it is done, the file is waiting in Files, under On My iPhone, Lidhra, like every other download.

The cloud carriage still runs. Connect a debrid provider and your magnets ride there as before, fast and comfortable. And if you ever feel like walking, the add sheet has a new checkbox: Download directly on this device.

House rules for the new guest: it only works while Lidhra is open, it prefers Wi-Fi, and it never shares your downloads with others unless you say so under Account, Direct downloads.

And they all downloaded happily ever after.
