Because of that people shopping at Lidl are careful loading food. The store is well organized and clean, food are fresh and loaded to the shelves promptly, quick sell products are clearly labeled with discount prices, one employee would do multitasking works, because the store is well organized and managed, the price of food are fair prices. My family enjoy shopping at Lidl and I recommend my coworkers and friends to try shopping at Lidl supermarket. Thanks for your time and respecting people’s efforts and work ### 2/5 — Card never loads in store *2026-08-15* With the new app, it has NEVER loaded my scan card properly at check out. Was never an issue with the old app. Sorting, coupons, and all the features I’m getting used to. But the app crashes at check out every time. Gotta fix that! Especially since you all are pushing staff to not use the phone number. I spend the time I normally would be bagging and removing my items from checkout trying to get the app to open. We’re sharing your feedback with our developers! ### 3/5 — Not User Friendly *2026-07-31* The new app is harder to navigate. I had to ask a store employee to help me find my list. And the absolute worst is you cannot use your phone number. If customers are already getting the lowest Prices then we shouldn’t need one. No? (I suspect Germans do not require an app). Needless to say, I couldn’t download in the store because obviously you all are saving rent by getting such a terrible location. It took more than 20 minutes as it kept glitching. My advice- be different, drop the app and gamified savings, be a quality high value, low price grocery store. HALLO ALDI. ### 1/5 — Lidl Plus sucks! *2026-07-28, version 17.6.4* Another day, execs and hire-ups ruin a good thing out of greed. In today's times, everything costs more, and every day people are getting less and less for their dollar. You took away a points system where we can earn coupons that equal money off our purchases to a point system where we can earn free Lidl items????? And the items are ridiculously overpriced. It's trash! I guess I've got to find a new store that has better savings. ### 3/5 — Used for first time BUT *2026-07-28, version 17.6.4* Everything went well until checking out with 15 items. Initially the $5 off $30 coupon worked. However I had 2 reduced items (25% off) that didn’t scan properly. Had to wait for assistance. She adjusted the two items but then the $5 off $30 coupon discount disappeared. Clerk hadn’t manually enter it even after I rescanned my virtual card/QR code. Fortunately the store wasn’t too busy. Lidl needs to fix the bugs before rolling out a new App. Old one worked fine ### 1/5 — No wallet support, no dark mode *2026-07-28, version 17.6.4* I understand you want people to use the app, but sometimes I want to scan, tap to pay and be out. It's lame that I have to open the app to scan the code and we don't have an option to add it to wallet. What's also lame is not having a dark mode option. ### 3/5 — Not great *2026-07-27* Don’t see a whole lot of improvement if any, from the previous app. As mentioned no search bar in the home page or location of item. Not sure why the weekly ad is 40 plus pages long in the app. Why not have a copy of the circular? Lidl has been my #1 grocery but that was back when they put the customer first. Sadly, this failed app intro is just one more example of losing their connection with the customer.
