## What is Lido?

Lido is a workout timer with a pool.

Build your workout, press play, and put the phone down. Lido speaks — it announces each exercise, calls halfway so you know when to switch sides, and counts down the last five seconds, even with the screen locked.

Finish a workout and a toy floats in your pool: a rubber duck, a beach ball, an orca, a flamingo. One toy per workout, a fresh pool every month. It's a workout log you'll actually want to look at — and every so often, a gilded toy turns up.

THE TIMER
• Timed circuits with spoken cues — hands-free from first exercise to last
• Untimed checklists for gym days: sets, reps, and a rest clock
• Halfway and five-second alerts, per exercise
• Keeps talking with the screen locked or the app in the background

SETS
• A standalone rest clock for the bench — tap when you rack the bar, lift when it says go
• Start it from Control Center or the Lock Screen without opening the app

THE POOL
• One toy per finished workout, in your workout's color
• Monthly pools you can swim back through

A bigger pool
- Twenty finishes in one month now earn the grand pool: wider water, a second ladder, a diving board. Looks like you needed a bigger pool.

Calmer water
- Busy months drift more believably — toys bump and slide around each other, and even a very full pool stays legible.

Lido 1.1 is about making the pool welcoming to everyone, and giving you more ways to see your swimming.

Accessibility, top to bottom
- Full VoiceOver support — every control now speaks its name and state, including the icon-only buttons.
- Dynamic Type — the whole app tracks your preferred text size, from the smallest setting to the largest.
- Increase Contrast — colors and edges respond when you ask iOS for a clearer picture.

See your month
- Flip the pool to reveal a calendar of your month — every day you swam, filled in. A quiet ledger, not a scorecard.

Untimed workouts
- Sessions without a clock now get their own walkthrough, where your sets are the pace instead of the timer.

Sounds and feel, your way
- Beeps and chimes get their own switch, separate from haptics.
- An optional halfway announcement for Sets.
- Haptics honor the switch everywhere, including the player.

A pool that looks like yours
- Two new app icons — Deep End and Night Swim — with live previews in Settings alongside the themes.
