## What is Life Experience Tracker?

Try everything at least once! Make the most of your life by tracking what you've done, and see what things you have yet to try.

In the 1.0 release start by tracking places you have visited. Version 2.0 brought the ability to track food & drinks that you have tried. Then Movie tracking followed!

Future small updates will improve the experience and larger updates will add whole other new categories, so jump in now to get a head start.

### 4.0 — 2026-04-07

New Features:
• Movie Cast Lists - The Movie info card now shows a full cast list for each entry in your collection.

Improvements:
• Made scrolling past the notes section easier.
• Upgraded the render quality of the notes section.

Fixes:
• Fixed changing ratings & notes not showing up until reopening a section.
• Fixed Food items names not appearing in the main list until after viewing the info page.

### 3.9 — 2026-03-31

New Features:
• Watch List - You can now track your Movie Watch List rather than just those you have already seen! You can tick Movies off your watch list as you watch them, after which you may rate them, as well as track when you ticked them off.

Improvements:
• Movie Data version numbers are now tracked.
• Enlarged scrollable area in info screens.
• Updated and added some AppStore screenshots.

### 3.8 — 2026-03-29

Improvements:
• Added a confirmation popup for adding Movies.
• Updated to Unity 6.0.68 for improved performance.

### 3.7 — 2025-09-15

New Features:
• Search - Use the new search bar to locate your chosen country, food, or movie!
• Movie Runtime - See how long your chosen movie is.
• Date Added - See the date you added movies to your list, and the date you have added foods going forward.

Improvements:
• Foods can now be filtered by all of their applicable categories rather than just their primary one.
• Exports now only include necessary data.
• Added a shadow effect to the info panel.
• Improved layout of info panel.
• Images now load significantly faster.
• Added a clear button to all search fields.
• Food items missing recent data will auto refresh themselves.
• Display of some category names is improved.

Fixes:
• Fixed an issue where the overview can appear twice when adding a Movie.

### 3.6 — 2025-08-27

New Features:
• Data Export - Adds the ability to export your Travel, Food & Drinks, or Movie data in JSON format.
• Full Screen Movie Posters - Tap on a movie poster image to view in full detail.

Improvements:
• Migrated all local data to a significantly faster and more robust data management system.
• Added a message for when a selected filter returns no results.
• Added basic analytics.
• Improved reliability of saving data in scenarios like your device running out of battery.
• Improved performance throughout.
• Updated the button layout on the filter screen.
• Widened card views to allow for more content on screen.
• Refreshed the settings screen structure.
• Optimised when country data gets saved to improve battery life. 
• Optimised the fetching of Movie Genres.
• Removed support for iOS 14 and 15 to improve future compatibility.
• Displaying the Movie info card is now much faster using already cached images.
• Increased the speed when removing the background fade so it doens’t block user interaction.

Fixes:
• Fixed an issue where the last movie might not always show.
