## What is Life Game?

Change a law. Solve a future.

Life Game is an intervention laboratory built around eight authored challenges. Starting cells are fixed: you design local laws to change what happens next.

EIGHT EXPERIMENT CHALLENGES
Rescue a pair, bridge an empty gap, selectively remove a colony, or create a brief pulse of life. Each challenge supplies its own initial world, edit budget, observation generations, and spatial goals. Choose where Maze, Seeds, or HighLife will make a difference. All eight challenges are available immediately.

DESIGN, PREDICT, COMPARE
Tap or paint laws onto allowed squares, then predict whether the final population will be larger, equal, or smaller than the unmodified control. Your design and the control start from identical cells and evolve for equal generations. Scrub the generation slider to compare intermediate states as well as the ending.

LEARN FROM EACH ATTEMPT
See measured results for every goal, your prediction result, and an explanation of the mechanism. Revise your existing design and retry. Earn one star each for meeting the goals, predicting correctly, and solving without a hint. Draft designs, best scores, and the latest 60 attempts are stored locally; reopen past runs to compare them again.

FREE RULE MOSAIC EXPERIMENTS
The Experiment tab remains an unrestricted laboratory. Paint Conway, HighLife, Seeds, and Maze on one board and place Cyan or Coral cells. Inspect a cell's rule, neighbor counts, and cause of change. Save branch points, compare them with the current world, and record hypotheses and population graphs in the Notebook.

CLASSIC CONWAY MODE
Traditional Game of Life is also included, with board sizes, speed controls, wraparound edges, trails, random fill, and 15 built-in patterns. Open the pattern library from the top of the Classic screen.

Available in English and Japanese. No account, advertising, in-app purchases, analytics, or behavioral tracking. Experiment data stays on your device, and all core functions work offline.
