I am using another app which is a lot better however I will always advise to buy the books and use the apps in addition ### 1/5 — Not enough test questions! *2016-05-20, version 1.1* Isn't enough questions to revise! Displays red bar (too bright and harsh) when incorrect. Many times marked incorrect and when clicked to find out right answer, it showed that the answer I had selected was correct in the first place. Same thing happened with other tests too. I failed my test. There were 3 questions from this app on the test, the rest was questions I have never seen before! It doesn’t even tell you which questions were for each chapter, so it’s difficult to work out which ones were wrong on your own. I would love to demand my money back, the app is extremely buggy! - App is not exactly compatible with newer resolutions. - The test summary is not accurate at highlighting correct/incorrect answers. - the scores are not correctly calculated. - irrespective of the score, it seems I have always managed to pass, even after scoring less than the prescribed 18 correct answers. - questions are repetitive in nature. Please look to other free apps which are much more functional and offer better value. The lack of finesse makes me doubt their printed material. It is £1.99 and I paid it and I must say its a great app. 100% what it should be like. After downloading 5/6 other apps for life in the UK this app instantly got addictive and educative. A MUST. Don't buy any others, this is the one, my wife passed by doing just this alone for 5 days. She got 21 marks. ### 3/5 — Quite basic App, needs development *2025-01-31* The app is quite basic and has a few bugs. The scores are most times incorrect. It doesn’t clearly show you which answers were wrong unless you open one by one. It doesn’t allow you to review failed questions or previous test answers. If there was any better app (which I don’t really know), I wouldn’t recommend. ### 3/5 — 17/24 says passe this is actually not! *2021-03-30* I’m doing this test but say 17/24 that I’m passd which is actually not tru since it has to be 75% and 17/24 is around 70%. Detailed Summary page: being able to swipe left or right for previous / next answers would be great. It’s not a good tool and I have now purchased the official one. Waste of money! ### 2/5 — Full of bugs *2017-10-22* I am yet to take the test, and using this app to measure my knowledge, find out which parts of the book I should read again. As someone pointed out 3 years ago(!) the app is full of bugs, especially the results page. Example: I've scored 24/24, but it says that I scored 86% only on chapters 5 and 6. Another: scored 22/24, but had only one wrong answer. ### 2/5 — Poor quality control *2016-06-12* Overall helpful questions to learn from and a good counter to the official app. However, they seem to not have fully tested the application prior to release. There are times they have marked questions as red/incorrect but when you review the question it shows answers as correct. Other times it says you got 15/24 right, but claims you passed. I don't think the scoring can be fully trusted! Shame. ### 2/5 — Feels like a beta version *2014-06-19* This app is recommended in the Official Life in the UK Practice Questions book and on the official website, so you'd think it'd be fully road tested, right? Wrong.
