## What is Life KPI?

Check in monthly on the four capitals of life — human, financial, social, and personal values — with KPIs you choose for yourself. The longer you keep at it, the more your life finds its order.
Alongside weekly and monthly habits, the Bucket List holds the goals you want to fulfill just once in your lifetime.

Life KPI is a personal dashboard for inspecting and gently tuning the four capitals with your own hand.
Not led by feelings alone. Yet not ruled by numbers either.
A quiet instrument panel that mirrors back — as it is — where your life is leaning and what could use a small adjustment.

The Four Capitals of Life

■ Human capital
Health, skills, knowledge, body, mind, habits.
The foundation of your earning power and your capacity to enjoy life — worth a lifetime of investment.

■ Financial capital
Money, and your ability to handle it. Savings, investing, side income, expense control.
The wider the range you can control, the more options open up in life.

■ Social capital
Trust-based bonds with family, friends, and people who matter.
The happiness money can't buy, and the safety net to lean on when things get hard.

■ Personal values
Values, hobbies, aesthetics, creative work, your own way of being.
Not leftover time — this is the center that decides what the other three capitals are for.

The Bucket List

Goals you want to fulfill just once in your life can sit alongside the four capitals.
Apart from weekly and monthly habits, write down the deadline and what it means to you. When you achieve it, the date and a note stay in your history.
A place for the larger, quieter goals — the ones not measured in repetitions.

Five Windows for Reflection

This week. This month. This year. All time. A custom range.
Move between the texture of the short term and the direction of the long term — all in one screen.

Keep / Change at Month's End

A single line for what you want to keep, and another for what you want to change.
A moment to put into words the "why" that pure scores would miss — written for yourself.

What Life KPI Doesn't Do

- No rankings. You can't see anyone else's score.
- No feed. Other people's achievements don't scroll past you.
- No streaks or chains pressuring you. Forget a day and nothing is lost.
- Notifications, once a week and once at month's end. Nothing else hurries you.
- No blame for missed targets. Unmet KPIs simply line up — no red warnings, no "keep going" pressure.
- Achievement isn't hyped either. Even past 100%, it's marked quietly. No celebrations.

What matters to Life KPI isn't stimulation — but how settled you feel after you've kept going.

Privacy

Your KPIs, records, notes, and monthly reviews are all stored on your device.
When available, they sync to your own private iCloud.
No external servers, no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no tracking SDKs — none.

Requirements

- iPhone only
- Japanese / English (switch from inside the app)
- iPhone widgets (Small / Medium / Large)
- iCloud sync (automatic across devices on the same Apple ID)

—

A common trap with KPI tools is that hitting the KPI quietly becomes the point.
Life KPI is built for the opposite.
Whether you hit it or not, you can open it again tomorrow.
If you can write a single line of Keep / Change at month's end, the month was enough.

Continuing is the ultimate KPI.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-07-31

This update polishes how you review and delete records.
- The per-KPI records button on Home is now called "History", so it is easier to tell apart from the record button.
- The records list now shows that you can tap a record to edit or delete it — the easiest way to fix a mistaken tap.
- Before deleting a KPI, the confirmation now explains that deletion cannot be undone, and that archiving keeps the records while removing it from your list.
- Deleting an achieved bucket-list item from History now asks for confirmation, too.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-07-01

More freedom to revisit your past reflections.
- You can now change which month a saved reflection belongs to — handy if you logged it under the wrong month, or want to add a reflection for a month you missed.
- The month stays as a simple label until you tap it, then a wheel opens so you can change it.
- In "Review past reflections" under History, it's now clearer that you can tap a reflection to edit it.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-06-16

A polish update for accuracy and ease of use.
- The custom date range now keeps your current selection when opened. Use the new "Select the whole month" button to pick a full month at once.
- Fixed the "This year" view so the scorecard, progress %, four capitals, and radar all agree.
- Changing the start of week now updates reminder days right away.
- Age-based deadlines now start from your current age.
- Improved text legibility and tap targets. The app now keeps its light appearance even when the device uses Dark Mode.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-06-05

Polished the custom date range across Insights and History.
- Pick a year and month and the whole month (1st to last day) is selected instantly.
- Fixed the scorecard tally for custom ranges, so records inside the chosen window are now counted correctly.
- The Insights scorecard now follows the same order as the "Active KPIs" list in Settings.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-05-27

The Information screen now shows the current version number at the bottom.
This makes it easier to tell which version an issue happened on when you reach out about a problem.
