### 4/5 — GREAT BUT FLAWED

*2026-10-05*

I loved that this was a simple straightforward app with easy lists and generic customizations, but now there feels like weekly new updates that are making it difficult.
1) The calculator list now doesn’t display the sum total equation without me scrolling and triggering the search bar. It also doesn’t update the new sum totals instantly anymore when I change any of my individual totals on the lists. I have to exit the list and return to it. 2) The new AI search function impedes me easily seeing my longest lists. Can we turn that AI portion off?

### 4/5 — Read before download

*2026-08-25*

This app is really amazing. It has pro con lists, checklists, habits, packing lists, really all a girl could want with an app like this. The only reason I rated this app 4 instead of a 5 is because some features you have to upgrade to get like an ai chatbot. Yes I know that there are different apps for this but the slogan of this app is ALL IN ONE. So….i was expecting everything to be included with the free version. But who I am to complain when I spent an hour just looking for a completely free app like this? Just download it and you’ll what I mean. ❤️

**Developer response:** Free AI coming in the next few days!

### 4/5 — Crashing!!

*2026-08-12, version 3.1.81*

Love it but why does it keep crashing every time i open it today 8/12/26??? ive an iphone xs max

### 5/5 — Great list

*2026-02-18, version 3.1.69*

I’ve tried a lot of to do list apps, and so far, this one is my favorite. It’s easy to use, it keeps everything nice and organized. It keeps all of your lists in one place, and it’s free.

### 4/5 — Warum nicht....

*2026-02-14, version 3.1.26*

für -ipad, Iphone ??? Warum nicht mit mehreren Usern bearbeitbar??

### 3/5 — Limited functionality

*2026-01-27, version 3.1.68*

Wanted to sort a particular list by date. Also wanted to copy over a list into another app. Doesn’t give a copy/paste option for entire lists.

### 5/5 — Love this app!!

*2026-01-09*

I know that I’m going to LOVE this app. I get things done better if I have a list to go by. All the other apps have daily lists and you have to make one up every day. This one you can make a master list of all the things you do. Once you make the master list, just check them all done. Then each day you can just uncheck the ones you want to do and then check them off as you do them. No more forgetting things!!

### 5/5 — I love it

*2025-12-07, version 3.1.65*

I’ve been using this app ever since it was first made, in 2018, I’ve stopped using it for a few years, but i decided I wanted to use a to do and routine app again, so I came back to this app, and it still never fails to surprise me, I have autism so i absolutely love organizing stuff, lists, routines, schedules, shopping, etc, thank you so much for ever creating this app. 💛

### 5/5 — Great app & support

*2025-10-31, version 3.1.59*

I’ve been using this app for quite some time now and can honestly say it’s one of best of its kind available. And after I tested this latest update I have to admit I’ve been underutilizing this app for way too long. Onto custom lists and having fun too.

From a recent small problem I was having with the previous version, I can also verify that Dave, the developer, provides excellent support. He not only fixed the problem quickly, he kept me informed the entire way.
Great app! Excellent support!
What more do you need.
Jim

### 4/5 — App is a mess

*2025-07-01*

I really want to like this app. I've been using it for 2 to 3 years, but considering scrapping it and using Apple reminders instead. Every time an update comes out, I still see the same bugs. I've tried to contact the developer, but to no avail. He's either absent minded or has his email misconfigured. I'd be very happy to send screen shots of the bugs and tell him what's happening, but if don't get a response, I'm not going to waste my time. Just wish he'd get this app fixed.

**Developer response:** Hi Daverrrooo,
It's true that my responses have slowed but I do still try to get back to all emails. I don't see an email from a Dave any time recently though. If you haven't received a reply by the time you receive this, the mail may be getting lost along the way somewhere.

### 5/5 — This is an AMAZING APP!!

*2025-05-23*

I love this organizer app! It has so many things on it and gives you an infinite amount of space to jot down anything you need! I did try to tap on one specific icon though and it completely went out of the app back to my Home Screen so I would fix that if it happens to everyone (the icon is the tilted paw print) but other than that this app seems great! You don’t need to pay any money either! ❤️❤️

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2025-04-06, version 3.1.38*

I have been researching many list apps and this is the most incredible one I have found. It has all the basic features like creating sub lists, manually sorting and syncing. Plus so many more features!

### 5/5 — My new go-to app

*2025-04-06*

I was looking for a simple list making app without the bells and whistles or learning curve. At first I used it just for a basic to do list. I have found even more use with the handy ability to make multiple lists and love the template where you can rank the importance of each task. Better yet, the app doesn’t track you or ask for special permissions. Highly recommend.

### 3/5 — Please fix this!!!

*2025-03-31, version 3.1.37*

This app is ok. It works pretty well but when I click send a notification to remind me about things it doesn’t work at all.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Absolutely Awful! All my data is gone!

*2026-10-06, version 3.1.89*

They updated the app and all my data within the app was lost! They completely changed the app with the most recent update and it is now nothing like how it used to be! The former version was an amazing list app that I loved using and used frequently I had a lot of useful information and reference material carefully organized into lists and it’s all gone!

### 1/5 — You made changes that don't make sense

*2026-09-27, version 3.1.87*

What was a straightforward app, now requires hoops to make a simple list. If I edit a task, and then change my mind, I cannot see a way back to the main list. It seems I'm forced to make choices that are not applicable to what I'm trying to do. Why do programmers continue to fix apps that are not broken? Perhaps to justify their employment?

### 1/5 — A Difficult App

*2026-02-20, version 3.1.26*

Not a good app for someone who is juggling multiple complex projects. Very difficult to organize tasks under each project and impossible to add notes for each task. Even worse, it was difficult to post this review

### 1/5 — Not An Efficient App

*2026-02-13, version 3.1.26*

Not easily sharable and freezes constantly.

### 1/5 — Lost all lists suddenly

*2025-09-30, version 3.1.55*

I had sync and backup on but today when i logged in all lists (4-5) and all individual items (over 500 ideas) were gone. I was using this to keep track of ideas big and small, book chapters and outlines, and more. Poof. Gone. The backup was still checked with a small disclaimer claiming an error occurred. I wouldn’t trust this app if I were you.

### 1/5 — will not sync with icloud

*2025-09-01, version 3.1.55*

no good

### 1/5 — Perdu toutes mes notes

*2024-03-02, version 2.2.8*

Avec la dernière mise à jour, j’ai perdu tous mes rappels et toutes mes notes. Application réinitialisée sans avoir prévenu

### 1/5 — Lost All My Lists…

*2023-10-24, version 2.0.2*

Here is an update to a previous review I put out here. My previous review was that I had to reset my phone and when I got it up and running again all my list were gone. I sent an email and it took over a month to get a response which didn’t make me happy but the response is that since I had to reset my iPhone and this app does not utilize backing up to the cloud you lose everything. So word to the wise if you have to reset your phone, please take note of all your lists and you’ll have when you have to re-create everything. I had about five or six that I keep ongoing for stores that I go to and everything was wiped out. As a resolve, I am going to delete the app and I am going to use the REMINDER app (for lists) on the iPhone which now has lists and it’s very good. It just came out with I believe iOS 17 and if you need to know how to use it go to the internet or go to YouTube.

### 1/5 — Hate the changes

*2020-09-28, version 1.6.17*

I’ve used this app for years and loved it. Then it started putting items in categories I don’t want. For instance, it placed “baking soda” in a “beverages” category and “wine vinegar” in a “beer and wine” category. It thus scatters all my grocery items out into nonsensical categories that I have to go in and delete. Stupid, poorly thought-out and unnecessary change.

### 1/5 — No watch function really $$ but costs

*2020-04-23, version 1.5.9.5*

There are better free lists. No help or instructions but not that intuitive. Only $3 but only bought because of watch function that only seem to have 2 options. Important or upcoming. With no instructions I couldn’t figure out why.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lots of options!

*2026-10-14, version 3.1.90*

I’ve tried nearly all of the to do/productivity apps, and I love this app! They already have so many pre-made lists, but even if they don’t have a specific list u want, u can make your own list! User friendly too.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-10-04*

An app that is free and I thought it was pretty good before they did the but now that they’ve done it’s so great! There’s a few things that I would still like to see but I also haven’t 100% explored everything yet on the app so it might just be something I missed and the weather part is not accurate but personally I don’t care it’s got everything else it’s got and it’s free!

Hook up to phone iPad and watches idk it does other devices besides Apple. There’s a calendar folder that you can use. There is a workout folder that AI has made that is pretty handy and it gives you recommendations of what you. Might want to put in it. There’s a Habit folder. There’s a schoolwork folder, which is extremely useful. You can just make normal list. You can do recipes all sorts of stuff. I highly recommend checking out this!

### 5/5 — Useful & Amazing Support

*2026-09-20, version 3.1.87*

I’d be lost without this app! Our family has used it for years for everything from holiday planning and grocery lists to tracking bills. The customer support is AMAZING, too! I had a minor issue after a recent update, and it was fixed within a couple of weeks. You can tell they really listen to their users. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Immediately loved it

*2026-07-10, version 3.1.78*

I just downloaded this today and it doesn’t lie when it says all in 1😭 this shi has everything possible, and it’s separated exactly how I imagined when I was searching for smth more than just a calendar. Notes for specific things in different lists and folders. I was exploring the app for a good 30 mins with pure joy. I might have a disorder.

### 5/5 — Best lists app!

*2026-06-11, version 3.1.78*

I am amazed at all different features and choices! Best choice i made on a lists app!

### 5/5 — One of the better apps.

*2026-05-04, version 3.1.77*

I am enjoying life lists. It has a lot of capacity for

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-03-30, version 3.1.76*

The best productive app in my opinion, It simply has all things I need.👍🏻
Thank you team . ☺️

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-03-05, version 3.1.72*

I’ve been using this app for years and absolutely love it. It’s not over complicated and does exactly what I need. I recommend it to people often.
The developer is also really responsive and helpful with issues or including new features. Thanks!

### 5/5 — What has happened with grocery categories?

*2026-03-02, version 3.1.71*

After the recent update I no longer have grocery categories to choose previously created groceries from. I only have my current grocery list items.

### 5/5 — Best List Organizer By Far

*2026-02-24, version 3.1.71*

Life Lists Organizer is the Swiss Army knife of apps. It is so flexible in terms of all it can do. It has replaced multiple apps I have been using. I just discovered DG Apps and all of their products are simple and superb. I wrote the developer a question and Dave got right back to me and was genuinely interested in my feedback. This is one of those apps Apple should put on every one of their devices. It’s that good.
