## What is Life on the Grind?

GRIND CITY, 1995. Beepers, boomboxes, brick cellphones and boom bap.

Life on the Grind is a comical hip-hop life-sim board game — an original homage to the classic 90s "get a job, pay your rent, chase your goals" turn-based life games, painted wall to wall in street-art style.

Four goals. One winner:
• PAPER — stack cash, work the career ladder, play the Block Exchange
• VIBES — keep your spirits up while the city grinds you down
• SKILLZ — master rap, DJing, breakin', graffiti, beatboxing and video
• CLOUT — build your rep from open mics to headline residencies

Every turn is one week with 60 hours. Walk the painted board, work shifts, take classes at the Cypher Spot, cook at your crib, survive rent day — and decide whether that gold chain is an investment or a liability.

THE COME-UP
The career mode is the game: cut demos in your home studio, get knocked back by the radio, rework the tape, win the Friday cypher battles and climb from park-bench busking to the Northstar Arena. Sign with ROTZ Records — or back yourself and stay indie.

• A five-instrument stock market that survives bank collapses
