## What is Life Rank?

You already know what to do. That was never the problem.

The problem is that nothing keeps score for you on the day you don't feel like it. That's what Life Rank is for: it keeps the count, it reminds you what you said, and it makes visible what never showed.

FIVE CHARACTERISTICS, ONE SHAPE
Every action you complete feeds one of the five sides of your life: strength, vitality, intelligence, attention, spirit. Together they draw a shape, and that shape moves. Three days of neglect on one side and it drops back — so that letting go finally has a price you can see.

A RANK YOU CANNOT CHEAT
Your rank doesn't only look at your average: it looks at your lowest characteristic too. You can't climb by doing more of what you already do well.

A STREAK THAT KEEPS THE COUNT
You don't start over every Monday any more. Ten days in a row, and every quest pays you one and a half times.

YOUR QUESTS, YOUR RULES
67 ready-made quests, all of them adjustable: the dose, the frequency, the time, the name. None of them is imposed: you pick your first ones during the Awakening, and you change your mind whenever you like.

IT'S ALL IN THE APP
· Today's quests: the list is already made when you open your eyes
· Focus timer
· Gym sessions: exercises, sets, volume and personal bests
· App blocking, on the windows you choose
· Screen-time budget
· Run tracking, with distance and pace
· Guided breathing: four techniques
· Guided meditation: five sessions
· Boredom tolerance
· Journal, weekly review and notebook
· The curve of your five attributes, day after day

Each of these screens exists elsewhere as a paid app, and each one counts its points in its own corner. Here they all feed the same shape.

YOUR STEPS, ON THEIR OWN
With your permission, Life Rank reads your step count from Apple Health to validate your walking quests. Nothing to enter.

100% ON YOUR PHONE
No account. No tracker. No ads. What you write never leaves your device — and we have no way to reach it. Only your subscription is verified online, under an anonymous identifier.

THE SUBSCRIPTION
Two plans: Life Rank Annual, one year long, and Life Rank Monthly, one month long. A discounted annual offer, also one year long, may be shown to you during setup. The price is displayed in the app, in your country's currency, before any purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage it and cancel it at any time from your App Store account settings.

### 2/5 — Payant

*2026-09-14*

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-15

The System can now reach you. Permission is asked during the Awakening, with a preview of what you'll get: one reminder a day for your quest of the moment, and the System's offers. Nothing else. You can turn it off in Settings.

If you stop before entering, the System no longer forgets you: your answers are kept, and you come back where you left off instead of starting over.

Moving from one act to the next is now spoken rather than displayed, and entering the System reveals your rank properly.

On small screens, nothing spills over any more: the nine-tool grid, the reminders screen and the app preview finally fit without scrolling.

Fix: in some cases, someone who had just subscribed could be sent back to the subscription screen instead of entering the app.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-14

Fix: for some users, the subscription screen did not open Apple's payment sheet and no plan appeared selected. Purchasing works again for everyone.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-14

The quest page has been rebuilt.

Your history now reads by week, month or year, and you can go back in time. Every quest with a dose remembers what you did that day: 5 reps last month, 8 this month — and a chart shows it.

The gym module follows: every exercise has its own tonnage progress, every routine has its own, and a past session finally has its page.

Tools move out of Review into their own tab: Breathe, Meditate, Lift, Run, Do nothing, the Notebook and your Runs, one tap away from anywhere.

Fixed: on small screens and with larger text, some Awakening screens could hide their button with no way to scroll. You were stuck. That can no longer happen.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-09

The level curve changes: climbing is faster, and level 100 becomes reachable — a year to a year and a half of quests held, at five to seven a day. Your XP does not move: your level jumps up with the update, and it never goes down.
An unlocked achievement shows itself, full screen, wherever you are in the app. A level up comes first; the card flips when you touch it.
The Notebook: touch a note to edit it. Same date, same place — the history does not move.
Touching a quest that opens a module — focus, strength, running, Notebook, blocking — asks what you want: validate right away, or open the session. Your choice is remembered for that quest, and can be changed in its settings.
Leaving a session in progress cancels it, and the screen warns you first: nothing is counted halfway. Pausing keeps everything.
A blocking or screen-time budget quest can be created without picking apps right away, and a steps quest without Apple Health: on touch, the app asks whether it measures or you validate by hand. A measured validation cannot be undone; a manual one can, like any other.
Thirteen quests become yes / no — Study, Personal project, Visualize your day, 4-7-8, Nature, Cycling, Swimming, Boxing, Racket sport, Team sport, Climbing, Hiking, Jump rope. Bar hang leaves the library.
A quest's settings are kept as soon as you choose them, with no Save button. A quest's name fits on one line.
Anonymous statistics on the onboarding screens, to see where the app loses people and improve it. Never your first name, never your answers, never your quests: your progress stays on your iPhone.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-07

App blocking finally keeps its promise. Reopening a blocking quest's settings wiped the list of chosen apps, and deleting the quest during its window left the apps sealed: both are fixed, and the app now rebuilds the shield from your quests itself every time it opens. A 24-hour window, two overlapping windows, apps unticked halfway through: everything is released as it should be.

Tracked quests now have an "in progress" state. A block or a screen-time budget is no longer won in advance: the quest is "in progress" during its window, and the XP lands at the end — or at midnight for the budget. A night window counts for the day it starts on, and the day change settles what you did not see.

The day's list is calmer. Every frame has the same colour; only the attribute chip stays coloured. The colour tells the state: purple in progress, green done, red broken. And the frame fills with your progress — half the window held, 2 glasses out of 8, 3,000 steps out of 6,000 — sliding, not jumping.

No more "quests down" block: a completed quest stays where it is. A button next to the arrows hides completed quests if you prefer, and remembers your choice.

Fewer costly mistakes. A "−" removes a glass added by accident. Unticking a completed quest asks for confirmation, and the "+XP" card offers to undo for a few seconds. A quest done several times a day no longer pays its XP drop by drop: all of it on the last tick, or none.
