Absolutely love that my family can add things to shopping lists and the calendar and it’s all just there when I need it. It has help make keeping a tight busy schedule much easier. Also love that I can set as many reminders as I want for events so I forget nothing and link things to do for events. Highly recommend this! We have young kids and are learning about how to manage a the demands of parent life, including dress up days, kids parties, vaccinations and planned trips away. All of our combined events for the kids and other events now get entered into Life Sorted. My husband has even started entering new events and dates for me to see. Also love that it isn’t based around personal goals, however would like the option to add personal goals etc (for example we r renovating so it would be good to set up a ‘goal’ and then set a date for each element of the renovations so it’s like a time line of my planned renovations). Would also like some sort of category option... for example so I can categorise and view at a glance how many hours/sessions of uni study I’ve planned each week, or how many hours of housework etc. A summary each month of the amount of time I’ve spent on each category would be a useful tool to reflect on time management practices and viability of routines. So far it’s a great organiser to keep me on track with what I’ve gotta get done. Love the custom date repetitions as my hubby does 3 weeks day shift, 3 weeks night shift. Legends!!!!! ### 5/5 — Love love love 💜 *2018-03-08, version 1.0* I have tried many planner/family calendar app's and this is by far the best I have used & would highly recommend. It's super easy to use and is accessible on all devices, across the family, simply by logging in with your email address, not over the cloud! It separates family members out across different columns where you can then plan each member, link to-do's & set multiple reminders. Something I have found useful is inputting our school term dates so that I can then set events by 'term'. There is also an easy to view 'annual' section so u can easily see who's birthdays and anniversaries are coming up. There is great support from the creators of this app so you can get the most out of it, with tutorials on the website and in their Facebook group, and the best thing is this app is still in its infancy with lots more to come, I can't wait! ### 5/5 — Feeling organised *2018-02-10, version 1.0* Love that I can see each family members day separately but together over many different devices. I find I am trying to think of things to add to my day just so I can ad an event. The to do list is a favourite too.. I do love a list and this one is so easy to use. I can set reminders and even set a timer beforehand - love it! Takes away a lot of nagging and mental notes. My forever hungry teenagers now also constantly update the food shopping list and whomever is at the shops checks the list, works a treat. Also just used it to creat packing and to do lists before a family holiday. My teenagers feel more capable cause they know what they need to do without Mum constantly checking / reminding. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Abandonware *2025-05-21, version 1.6* This app was great a few years back.. but it’s been years since the last update. You can't set photos to the right size - when it allows you to attach them at all without crashing. It doesn't remember you because it logs you out all the time so signing in each time is painful. The good old fashion pen and paper planner will be used by us and this app removed. I’ll see how I feel in 30 days about paying $60/yr. But the online support was good, they answered by question immediately when I contacted them. Just a couple of gripes below: It has lagged at times. There are also Christian religious days that I don’t really want to see and not sure how to remove them! You also can’t centre your photograph manually so it might not look right once uploaded. I would also like to remove holidays that aren’t relevant to me but I don’t think I can do this, eg, queens bday hol for another state. ### 5/5 — A must for every family *2021-02-18, version 1.6* What a brilliant app. This gets rid of the old calendar laying on the kitchen benchtop with all of my kid’s events, sports etc. As a single dad co parenting it makes communicating with my ex seamless and easy. We both have complete visibility about all upcoming events - not to mention the reminders. Not everything needs to be shared across the family. You can still schedule and organise your personal stuff. I have been using this app for over two years and has been great to see plenty of new features being introduced. One of my all time favourite apps. Not fun or efficient. Until Life Sorted! This is easy to use, great app and desktop applications and colour coding. It’s changed our family’s organisation and communication. This resulted in frustration and arguments. Since using Life Sorted we can easily see what the other one has planned and coordinate babysitting needs or work commitments. It’s also wonderful to add ‘to do lists’ to an event or an ‘attachment’ to an event (e.g. the invitation to a party). I can’t wait to make even better use of the app as I discover all of the features!
