You took away the + to be able to quickly book classes and reservations and replaced it with recently visited. This makes it extremely convoluted to just simply book a class because you replaced the option to simply make a reservation with bookmarks and the event schedule. People join Lifetime to go to classes, who told you it would be a smart idea to make it harder to book classes? People that go to lifetime are busy, I don’t have time to click around your app just to figure out how to see the schedule, let alone book a class. +, ### 4/5 — Would give 5 stars but…, *2026-07-21, version 2026.7.17* I really like the app and the ability to create varied workouts. However, there’s no way that I can find to remove duplicate workouts. Overall, the app is great for making appointments with a trainer or a class. I would give 5 stars if there was a way to remove unwanted exercises. Since the app updated, I can now remove workouts that i don’t want. Now the problem is any workouts created by AI do not get placed in my workout library. That no longer works unless you allow app to read and write health data. Mic on, browsing habits, etc. ### 2/5 — Poor management of Athlinks *2026-06-17, version 2026.6.12* Life Time Digital absorbed one of my favorite sites for recording runners’s race results. At first it seemed like a good match, but now I’m increasingly disappointed. Since this merge Athlinks has been horrible at uploading results from big races. Their help department is completely able to resolve issues. Also, you can’t use Apple Pay but you can put your lifetime pass in the Apple wallet? ### 4/5 — App Experience *2026-05-30, version 2026.5.22* Overall, it’s a great app and I’m happy with it. My only complaint after the recent update is the use of the word “complimentary” when registering for any classes as a Signature Member. These classes are not truly complimentary—we are paying for them through our membership fees. Lifetime is not providing every class at no cost; access to those classes is part of the membership we already pay for. While there are some genuinely complimentary offerings, labeling all included classes as “complimentary” feels misleading. I’d appreciate more accurate wording in the app. ### 4/5 — Streaming join button does not work *2026-05-28, version 2026.5.22* App is great🙏, but the join button no longer pops up when the class is supposed to start. Participants can’t join the class. ### 3/5 — App upgrade *2026-05-15* I’m a swimmer and typically check the swim schedule to see if there are any classes, lessons, etc. so I checked last week and didn’t see any pool classes when I went to class schedules. I was like “Great” and proceeded to go to the gym. After changing and walking into the pool areas I immediately noticed swim team on the right side pool and swim lessons on all the left pool lanes. The short story is someone decided to move pool classes and activities elsewhere. I now have to go to “explore” open that tab, then scroll down through all the gym has to offer until I see “Pool”, then open that tab and click on “view all”. So I have to ask; what was the purpose of moving the swim classes out of the “Classes” tab? If it’s not broke-DON’T try and fix it! It’s now become a game of “Find Waldo”. ### 3/5 — Apple Watch support *2026-05-14, version 2026.5.8* The Lifetime app no longer appears on my Apple Watch, and it’s not listed in the Watch app to reinstall. Are Apple Watch 5’s no longer supported??? ### 2/5 — Home page won't load *2026-05-13, version 2026.5.8* Since iOS26.5 upgrade, the home page won't load. I have no access to my training plans. Likewise the Member Support pages on membership options and "contact your club" won't load. The messages say my internet connection is down but it isn't. My friends and I want the ability to take classes together however are constantly screenshotting and sharing schedules. Would be great to have this functionality built directly in. Additionally, please add an option for outlook calendar integration versus just apple calendar. ### 3/5 — Yoga *2026-04-21, version 2026.4.17* I enjoy both the gentle yoga and hatha yoga at Eden Prairie Crosstown but the tennis court is next to the yoga studio and there is a tennis instructor at 9:30 who shouts and yells. We can hear it all. I add time and weight but when I leave it erases it. Super inconvenient ### 4/5 — LTF’s antiquated App does not let you make your class spot available when you can’t come. *2026-03-25, version 2026.3.20* Other gyms, within a short time before class starting, still let you cancel your reservation, but ALSO mark you as absent. Lifetime, within 2 hours, prohibits you from letting anyone know you are not coming, disallowing someone the opportunity to take your spot. Lifetime needs to update their antiquated app, like more modern gyms have done. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad customer service *2026-08-12, version 2026.8.7* Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience upon arrival due to the way we were treated by an employee named Brian. His attitude was rude, harsh, and unwelcoming, which made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected as customers. According to the benefits included with our membership, we are allowed to bring guests with us. Despite this, Brian handled the situation in a very unprofessional and disrespectful manner. We kindly ask management to review its customer service policies and ensure that employees, especially those working at the front desk, receive proper training on how to communicate with members and their guests respectfully and professionally. Does not allow you to order food at your gym through app. Does not accept lifetime gift cards at random times. Does anyone ever do quality control? The copy of the workout “screen” is too small to read and the aerobic portion is completely missing from the guided workouts. Please give us a full phone screen shot of the total workout that is readable. From the personalized workout plans, to being able to schedule certain services, as well as how responsive and almost no lag at all. We used to go to Lifetime before the membership price rose to about the amount you pay for bills. So, I’m glad they have livestream classes here for us to do. I look forward to doing these.
