So theoretically my child could be a block from home and be accosted before reaching the front door, and I would receive a ping that he had been home FIRST, then something happened. In a real crime situation, that would lead investigators on a wild goose chase on a false lead, and shave off precious hours off of a resolution. ### 5/5 — Loving it 365 *2026-09-08, version 26.33.0* The requirement for our boys getting cell phones was having Life360. Knowing where they are after they learned to drive was awesome. By putting her hand on cars outside the side row of apartments, she was able to determine the specific apartment. Knocked on the door and asked for her phone. They gladly handed it over. Second time: husband’s phone fell out of car at donut shop. Discovered the loss once we got home. 360 said it was inside the donut shop. Personnel denied they had phone until we showed them 360. They handed over the phone. Thanks 360. In the end, they did not resolve my problem. The app has been erroneously marking me down for using my phone while driving multiple times in a drive when I never touched it. This affects my driving score!!! After taking to support, they said it was my phone that was the issue and that I would need to log out of the app, restarting my phone, turn it back on, and log back in again every time it has issues. UNTILL i looked oh my map today and i realized they changed lake Ontario to “Lake america” when the meaning of Ontario is a word from the language Wendat a native american language which means big beautiful lake. By changing the name it removes the small piece of history that native americans treasure which makes me so sad that this app would change. It has not alerted her 2/2 of the times I have been in an accident. This is beyond disappointing and frustrating to know we are wasting money for a critical safety feature to not even work. I’ve noticed that the app seems to have issues identifying well established landmarks showing inaccurate names for major area such as Lake Ontario. How can one trust the information when basic information has been so easily manipulated to incorrect naming. Life 360 has bent the knee and updated their map to change Lake Ontario to Lake America. Oh, and this discovery prompted me to scroll down south. They also list The Gulf of America. The emperor has no clothes people!
