## What is LifeCast Weather?

Stop checking the weather. Start using it.

Every weather app tells you it’s 70° and cloudy. LifeCast tells you what to do with it: the best hour for a hike, the window for coffee outside, the sunset worth leaving early for, and the real places nearby that fit today’s sky.

YOUR DAY, DECODED
• Today’s Vibe: one look tells you what kind of day it is
• Best Moments Today: the right time for the things you love, scored against temperature, rain, UV and wind
• Hour-by-hour for the next 24 hours, plus a 7-day outlook

REAL PLACES, RANKED FOR TODAY
• Trails, cafés, parks and beaches near you from Apple Maps, ranked by how well today’s forecast suits each one
• Save your favorite spots and get directions in one tap

RADAR AND ALERTS
• Live precipitation radar on a real map
• Severe-weather alerts from the U.S. National Weather Service

BUILT AROUND WHAT YOU LOVE

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-04

Radar playback fixed: Plus radar history no longer goes blank while playing, and frames now load before playback starts.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-03

Smarter Best Moments: LifeCast no longer suggests outdoor plans into the rain or after dark. Bike rides and dog walks stay in daylight, coffee outside is a morning pick, and rainy days now suggest indoor ideas instead. Nearby places say when today is a washout.
