## What is LIFE/CLCT?

Business cards and shop cards, books and tickets.
An app for photographing, collecting and arranging the things you want to keep.

Take a photo and LIFE/CLCT finds the corners, crops it and cleans it up like a scan. Choose a type such as "Business card", "Novel" or "Movie", and it is saved with the name, address and other text already read.

【What you can do】

・Shoot with the camera, or import from your photo library
・Photos are cropped automatically and evened out like a scan
・Adjust the crop corners and their roundness after saving
・Collecting only books or only business cards? Fix the type for new shots and skip choosing
・Read names, addresses, phone numbers and more from the photo
・Look up titles from the barcode on books and records
・Ready-made templates: business cards, shop cards, novels, manga, magazines, movies, live shows, exhibitions and more
・Make your own templates by changing fields and extra parts
・Extra parts: star rating, date, price, gallery and more
・Sort into genres and subgenres, with an icon for each subgenre
・Filter and sort by genre, number of stars and name
・Search, including the text read from photos
・Look back on the days you added things in the calendar
・See items with an address on the map
・Photos you stop partway through are kept as drafts
・Works with LIFE/CTRL: link what you collect to the PARTS of your day

【Privacy】

Your photos and what you write are kept only on your device. There is no account.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-11

• Text is read as soon as you take a photo, and the item is saved once you choose its type. Adjust the crop corners afterwards with the crop button on the edit screen
• Photos are now cleaned up like a scan: uneven light is evened out and the paper comes out white
• On iOS 26 and later, new text recognition reads vertical text and whole lines more reliably
• Fix the type for new shots in Settings › Capture, to save books or business cards without choosing each time
• Scrolling and screens are lighter, and the app is smaller

### 1.1 — 2026-10-05

• The icon and theme colour are now a blue-grey
• A short animation draws the LIFE/CLCT logo as the app opens
• The genre screen now works like PARTS in LIFE/CTRL: reorder, rename and add subgenres
• Sorting is now two buttons, Added and Name; tap again to reverse, including oldest first
• Reorder handles now match LIFE/CTRL's dots, and items make room as you drag
• Choose round or pill-shaped calendar dates in Settings › Display
