## What is Lifeline?

LifeLine is a life, one year at a time.

NEW IN 2.0
The biggest update since the game launched. Ten career paths, seven content packs, more than sixty new years of written events, a weekly challenge, light mode, larger text, and the whole interface in Spanish and Portuguese. Everything that was free before is still free.

You are born somewhere in the world to a family you did not pick, with a face, a temperament and a little luck. Press Age. A year happens: money, people, health, and something you did not see coming. Choose what to do about it. Press Age again. Do that until the stone.

A CHILDHOOD THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS
Most life sims make you tap through the first eighteen years. LifeLine does not. Take up martial arts, boxing, swimming, music, art, coding, drama, debate or chess. Stay with it year after year and it becomes part of who you are, permanently, as a trait your own children can inherit. Behave at school or cause trouble. Both follow you out of the building at eighteen.

THEN THE REST OF IT
Twenty-four careers, from barista to neurosurgeon, with promotions, raises and the ceiling you eventually hit. Ten prestige paths that are games of their own: found a company that actually trades, launch a coin and decide whether to run, join a family and rise, run a corner and manage the heat, climb from school board to the White House, enlist and deploy, start a cult, wear a badge or a robe, fight for a title, post until the algorithm loves you. Marriage, children, the friends who drift, the parent who asks for money, the will. Four hundred and thirty-six hand-written years and seventy-seven career decisions, each one a real choice with a real cost.

EVERY LIFE ENDS
When it does you get a verdict: the epitaph you earned, the life goal you chased, and whether you actually reached it. Eighty epithets to win, fifty-nine things on the bucket list, and a headstone that says what you will be remembered for. Then carry on as one of your own children and watch a family line unfold across generations, traits and money and grudges and all.

THE SEVEN PACKS
Courtroom, for when a charge lands and you get a say. Landlord, tenants with names who pay or do not. Stage and Studio, a band, a label, records that land or flop in public. Hearts, the years between the wedding and the will. Bloodline, a trust, a named heir, feuds that outlive you. Hard Lives, six origins that start you behind. Wardrobe, frames for your avatar and a stone for your grave. Every pack is a system, never an advantage, and you can try any one of them for a whole life by watching a short clip.

THE STORE, HONESTLY
There are no forced ads. Not between years, not on the menus, not anywhere. Every ad in LifeLine is a button you choose to press, for something you already wanted: a year taken back, a second chance, a lucky break, one more year at the end. One optional payment unlocks all of those free, plus the prestige careers, God Mode and the Time Machine. No subscription, no loot boxes, no energy timers. Nothing that is free ever moves behind a pack.

No account. No sign-in. Plays offline, in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Dark by design, with a light mode if you read in daylight, and larger text if you want it. Your save stays on your device, and you can export a backup whenever you like.

A life, one year at a time. See how far it goes.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.1 — 2026-09-07

LifeLine 2.1.1: FOUR THINGS THAT WERE WRONG

MONEY THAT RAN OFF THE SCREEN
Past about a hundred million, the money line at the top of Assets pushed its own numbers off the edge and printed them on top of each other. It fits now, at any amount, on any phone.

TENANTS WHO MADE NO SENSE
A strip mall could rent to a retired schoolteacher for seven hundred thousand a year. Commercial property rents to businesses now. An apartment block rents to a building full of people. A duplex rents to a family. Properties you already own are fixed too, so you do not need a new life.

EVERY COMPANY YOU FOUNDED WAS THE SAME COMPANY
It was called NimbusAI and it sold the same thing every time, so a founder with five companies behind them had five identical rows of history. Names and ideas are rolled together now, across six industries, and you will not draw the same one twice in a life.

A LANDLORD YOU DID NOT HAVE
Own your home, or an island you live on, and the game could still send you news about your landlord. It does not anymore. If you actually rent, nothing changes.

NAME YOUR OWN COIN AND YOUR OWN COMPANY
Both screens now have a name field with a suggestion already in it and a dice button for another. Type over it and the thing is called whatever you want. The ticker updates as you type, so you can see what it will trade as before you spend a cent.

EVERYTHING THAT WAS THE SAME EVERY TIME
Once we found one, we went looking for the rest. Every coin you launched was MoonRabbit. Every movement you founded was The Luminous Path. Every family you joined was the Gallo family. Every account you started posted as "@you" about lifestyle, whatever your name was. All of it varies now, the coin suggestions run to thousands, and your handle is your own name.

A life, one year at a time.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-09-06

Housekeeping. There is nothing new to play in this one.

The App Store page now speaks Spanish and Portuguese, so the game is easier to find for people who do. The game itself has spoken both since 2.0.

Links to LifeLine events now open the game directly instead of sending you through a web page first.

A life, one year at a time.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-06

LifeLine 2.0: A WHOLE LIFE MORE

The biggest update since the game existed. Everything that was free stays free.

TEN WAYS TO MAKE IT
Found a company that actually trades. Launch a coin and decide whether to run. Join a family and rise. Run a corner and manage the heat. School board to the White House. Enlist, deploy, come home. Start a cult. Wear the badge or the robe. Fight for a title. Post until the algorithm loves you.

SEVEN PACKS, TRY ANY ONE FOR A LIFE
Courtroom. Landlord. Stage & Studio. Hearts. Bloodline. Hard Lives. Wardrobe. Systems, never advantages. Watch a short clip to try one; nothing free ever moves behind a pack.

SIXTY-PLUS NEW YEARS
The nineties. Childhood. The years of a romance. Grandchildren, in-laws and pets who finally speak.

A HAND WHEN YOU NEED ONE
Optional clips on the moments a life is about: cheat death and keep the year, take a bad gamble back, a lucky break on your next big roll, one more year at the end. All free with Plus. No forced ads, anywhere, ever.

ALSO
A weekly challenge. Light mode. Larger text. Reminders you turn on yourself. Spanish and Portuguese. A new icon. Readable type everywhere. Fifty bugs, some of them old, and a fuzzer that threw forty thousand garbage actions at the game so your phone never has to.

A life, one year at a time. See how far it goes.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-04

Sports you actually choose — and the list depends on where you were born. Muay Thai in Thailand, Gaelic football in Ireland, Friday-night football in the States.

Land you can build on. Buy a plot and put a cabin, a rental duplex or a whole estate on it. Bare land never gains value and can't be rented. A building does both.

A new path: dealing. One corner, then the city. Everything you do raises the heat, and the only thing that lowers it is not earning. It ends one of three ways, and you choose which risk you're running.

Politics that explains itself. Every office now has duties only it can do — a school board rewrites a curriculum, a senator holds the floor, a president addresses the nation. Rallies buy momentum you can see. And every election shows your odds broken down before you run, then tells you your vote share and what decided it.

Decisions now come to you. A vote on the floor, a call on tour, a problem on the corner — instead of waiting in a tab for you to remember them.

ALSO FIXED

- A serving soldier or a sitting senator no longer reads "Unemployed".
- Dying in service now says how and why, not just "killed in action".
- The Assets tab explains why buying something doesn't lower your net worth.
- Selling a property now costs what selling a property costs.
