## What is LifeOS?

Self-Observation Method
Five small practices that decide how today's you should move.

Observe → Select → Act → Notice → Restore

LifeOS is the best implementation of this method.
You could practice it on paper. But for connecting sleep, activity, tasks, focus, and reflection into one place, LifeOS is the most natural fit.

The more you continue, the more the data starts to return "your strengths and habits."
Morning deep worker. Monday starter. The way your focus drops on the third session.
LifeOS gives you back the final fruit of observation.

"I feel off today." But you don't know why.
Tasks pile up. Some days motivation just isn't there. But without knowing the cause, you repeat the same cycle.

LifeOS - Self Observatory turns that vague feeling into a number.

Your sleep, activity, and focus data become a daily energy score from 0 to 100.
Tasks are suggested with reasons matched to your condition.
The more you use it, the more your winning patterns emerge.
A behavioral insight OS that tells you the best way to move through your day.

Your companion for upgrading not just work, but life itself.

Your Strengths + Your Observations (new in v2.5)
After 14+ days of focus data, your strength type emerges — morning deep worker, evening sprinter, steady type, monday starter, evolving. Habit observations are delivered as findings, not judgments. Strengths needing more data are previewed as "unlocking in N days."

Today's Power
Your daily energy, scored from sleep, activity, and calendar data. Know at a glance whether today is a day to push hard or take it easy. AI generates personalized advice that changes every day.

Today's 3
Tasks recommended with reasons matched to your energy. Switch by day with the date calendar. Toggle between "To Do" and "Today" modes. Tasks abandoned 30+ days get one-tap triage. Type "tomorrow 6pm" or "every Monday" — AI parses dates and recurrence automatically.

Your Day Guide
3 tips based on your patterns, displayed every day. Auto-adapts to Power state, time of day, meeting load, and sleep.

Insights
"On 7+ hour sleep nights, your focus is 42% longer." Sleep vs focus, steps vs task completion, auto-correlated. The more you use it, the more your own patterns emerge.

AI Monthly Review (Pro)
At the start of each month, AI analyzes your previous month — winning patterns, trends, and next-month suggestions.

Reset Protocol
NOT (what to avoid), GO (where you're heading), DO (today's actions). A guided reflection to regain direction. Results stay on your dashboard at all times.

Pomodoro Timer
Every focus session feeds your Insights. Control from Live Activity, Dynamic Island, or Apple Watch.

Apple Watch + Complications
Power score displayed on your watch face. Know today's state with a glance at your wrist.

Weather + Power
Detects approaching low pressure and factors it into your Power score. Now you know why you feel off.

Life Goals
Your bucket list, visualized. Track long-term goal progress.

Complete Privacy
All data processed on-device only. Nothing sent to external servers.

Cross-Device Sync
Seamlessly sync across iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch via iCloud. No re-onboarding when you add a new device.

LifeOS Pro unlocks AI Monthly Review, correlation analysis, long-term trends, unlimited tasks, and unlimited Reset Protocol via an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly).

Pricing varies by region and is shown in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on purchase. ## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.16 — 2026-08-13

We no longer judge sleep by duration alone.

・Until now, your recovery score came only from how long you slept. Deep sleep and REM were already being collected, but only shown on the health screen — never used
・Now both duration and sleep stages count. Two eight-hour nights can score differently depending on how much deep sleep and REM you got
・The targets are 60 minutes of deep sleep and 90 minutes of REM. Meeting them earns full marks, and going beyond them adds nothing (more is not necessarily better)

Nights without your Apple Watch are unchanged.

・When no sleep stages were recorded, the score is calculated from duration alone, exactly as before
・A night with no stage data and a night with zero deep sleep are treated as different things — we won't paint a night you slept without your Watch as a poor-quality night

We rewrote the wording around sleep.

・"Sleep has been short" is now "Recovery from sleep has been low." Every message that named sleep duration based on the recovery score has been rewritten
・This is a correction, not a rephrasing. Once stages are included, "low recovery" no longer means "short sleep," and the old wording could call a short night well-rested

### 2.15 — 2026-08-08

Today now reads all the way from "why" to "what to do."

・Your condition score (Power) is the main element of the first screen: a large ring and number, recovery and load beside it, and the breakdown — sleep, heart-rate metrics, physical activity, daily load — in the same card
・A closing line names what is holding up your score today, leading into today's tasks
・Today on Mac has a new layout that uses the full window width

One less thing to enter.

・We no longer ask "how busy are you today?" Instead, your actual focused minutes (measured by the timer) count as daily load — what you actually did, not what you said

Numbers are more honest about themselves.

・Next to Power you'll see "Observing," "Trend forming," or "Fairly confident." Early on, it honestly says "Observing"
・On days when health data couldn't be read, we no longer fill in plausible-looking values — a missing day stays missing
・Anything not actually observed (like sleep on a night you didn't record it) is left out of numbers and AI-written text entirely

Fixes:

・Fixed repeating tasks multiplying across devices each day. Duplicates that already exist are not removed automatically — please clear them once by hand; they will not come back
・Fixed AI-written text occasionally disagreeing with the numbers on screen

### 2.13 — 2026-07-21

An important fix for people using multiple devices.

- Fixed: when using both iPhone and Mac, repeating tasks could be created twice each morning. Already-duplicated tasks need to be removed once by hand — new ones won't appear
- The fix takes effect once all your devices are updated; duplicates may continue while one device remains on an older version
- Fixed: "Sync Now" and pull-to-refresh could silently do nothing right after launch
- Reset's Daily Levers are now counted honestly: items not turned into tasks are shown with a dashed circle as "not tracked" instead of counting against you
- The daily observation export now includes heart rate variability and resting heart rate tracking status (when enabled in Settings > Data Management)
- Internal groundwork for upcoming observation features

### 2.12 — 2026-07-19

**Your time records are now editable.**

- Each task now shows an entry list — see every record (when, how long, timer or manual), tap to edit, delete what's wrong
- Actual time is now truly actual: stopped-early sessions count their real minutes. If numbers look smaller, that's honesty
- Watch your focus grow live: a recording badge appears and progress marks fill in real time, including partial progress (24 minutes shows as just short of one full mark)
- Fixed: sessions with a pause were recorded shorter than they actually were (these numbers go up)
- Focus time now matches across every screen (Today, Tasks, Report, review cards)
- Insights recalculated from the ground up. When there isn't enough data, we say so instead of guessing
- Sleep×Focus and Steps×Tasks correlations now use real per-day data; the Pro time-range selector works again
- New: daily observation export (Settings > Data Management) writes a JSON summary to iCloud Drive
- Deleting a Reset now syncs correctly across devices, with many Report and Reset screen improvements
- Many small fixes

### 2.11 — 2026-07-16

Sync got even lighter.

• Greatly reduced unnecessary iCloud traffic during focus sessions and when switching devices — easier on your battery and data.
• Focus session history now syncs only what changed, making multi-device sync faster and lighter.

Thank you for using LifeOS.
