Its a great tool for when you are looking for new birds while traveling. I used it for a recent out of state trip and it took me just a couple minutes to decide where I would be going birding, while in the past navigating eBird’s hotspots would take me at least 15 minutes of tedious searching if I was in an unfamiliar area.
