### 1/5 — Fails to deliver

*2025-08-19, version 2.0.8*

LifeSpan Fit continues to disappoint in 2025, showing no meaningful progress despite over a year of user feedback.

Key Issues:
	•	No proper Apple Health or activity support: Still doesn’t write core data like calories or steps.
	•	No Apple Watch integration: No heart rate syncing or metric tracking.
	•	No treadmill control from the app: Competitors let users adjust speed and incline from their phone. LifeSpan still doesn’t.

After more than 12 months of suggestions and silence from the developers, it’s clear there’s no commitment to improvement. Great hardware deserves a better companion app.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2025-03-28, version 2.0.6*

The last update broke the app. It wasn’t great before, but was functional. Now it forces you to re-register and get a message about connectivity cannot bypass the sign in screen. Completely unusable.

### 1/5 — Feeble attempt at an app

*2025-03-14, version 2.0.6*

Really wanted to like it, but there’s missing information on sections of the app and it only records steps while the app is on and doesn’t sync with the treadmill. It could be a really good app with a few tweaks.

### 1/5 — Major bugs

*2025-03-06, version 2.0.6*

Does not connect to apply health or even to their own devices

### 1/5 — It really is that bad

*2025-02-25, version 2.0.6*

As the other reviews say, this app is bad bad bad in so many ways it is not worth listing them. The previous lifespan app which they removed from the App Store was not great either but at least it was possible to get it to work. This app just will not work with the walking desk.

### 1/5 — App stinks - treadmill is great

*2025-02-16, version 2.0.6*

I have contacted them time and again about their app. How can you make such a great under desk treadmill and give people such an AWFUL app??? The Treadly app is way better. But the treadmill didn’t last. Sad. Here’s another plea to please make a new app!!! I don’t think I can recommend the treadmill anymore with the app as awful as it is.

### 1/5 — Won’t even launch

*2025-02-06, version 2.0.5*

Do not waste your time with this app until the company works the bugs out.

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2025-02-04, version 2.0.5*

How long can one app have “internet issues”? This app is horrible. Doesn’t sync properly, and doesn’t give the opportunity to add work outs manually when sync fails.

### 1/5 — Cant login

*2025-02-04, version 2.0.5*

I cant login!

### 1/5 — App doesn’t even open

*2025-02-02, version 2.0.5*

I actually didn’t totally hate the app because I could track my workout day to day and month to month. It would sync with the health app on my iPhone which was even better. Now the app doesn’t even open. Every time I try to open it says there’s “internet issues” and prompts me to try again. Only when I try again, I get the same result. The app is now COMPLETELY useless and wastes space on my phone. I hope this gets fixed but they don’t seem to care about the app or customers that want to use it. Extremely disappointed.

### 1/5 — Can’t login anymore

*2025-01-29, version 2.0.5*

Complains about some connectivity but that’s fake, internet works fine on the device. Their servers must be down

### 1/5 — No stars do not recommend

*2025-01-29, version 2.0.5*

I have both the bike and under desk treadmill, thankfully, I bought the controller for the treadmill and don’t have to rely entirely on an app to use. The bike, is quickly becoming a paperweight. I could deal with the app and how clunky it was, as long as it worked. Now that it is down and little acknowledgement from Lifespan about that, it seems pretty unlikely a fix will come soon. My guess is a disgruntled employee did this on the way out the door and there is zero clue on how to recover. The website gives you no indication that you could buy a device now, and have zero chance of actually using it. It sounds like from reviews it has been a week at least with no solution or timeline for a fix. This sounds like a failing manufacturer if there ever was one.

### 1/5 — Server issues - unable to login

*2025-01-28, version 2.0.5*

Since 2025-01-25, I'm unable to login, need a patch update ASAP

### 1/5 — The worst

*2025-01-27, version 2.0.5*

The app has always been bad but now it just doesn’t work at all. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times, will not let me log in and fails every time. So frustrating with as much as this treadmill costs!!

### 1/5 — Was finally fixed, now server is down

*2025-01-27, version 2.0.5*

It was briefly and gloriously fixed, now the server is down and it can’t be used again..

### 1/5 — App stuck at login screen

*2025-01-26, version 2.0.5*

While buggy, the app kinda worked… until a few days ago. Now, seemingly due to an SDK the developers used, the app is stuck at the login screen.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2025-01-24, version 2.0.5*

“Login Failed”. Network Error
Or
Internet Issue
When fetching the latest version number, there was a network error. Please ensure you have the latest version.

This is a fresh install on iOS 18.2.1

### 1/5 — It’s so bad

*2025-01-23, version 2.0.5*

After paying for a nice treadmill for under my desk that advertises the ability to bt sync data, it thought it would be able to port a few numbers over easily.
Initially, I was able to set up the app and stumble through how to sync data to my phone. It did not automatically sync, it was not user friendly.
After a few days it has logged me out of the app and I’m not able to get back in. This is the error message I get:
“Internet issues
When fetching the latest version number, there was a network issue. Please ensure you have the latest version to protect your own interests.” Per the App Store there is no newer version. It’s not helpful.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with TR5000

*2025-01-13, version 2.0.5*

Unable to connect to TR5000 DT5 also only allows signup with a social account and not your own email address.

### 1/5 — Disappointing App for a Premium Product

*2025-01-08, version 2.0.5*

I am surprised by how lacking the LifeSpan Fit app is compared to competitors. Despite the LifeSpan walking treadmill being a premium product, the app lacks essential features:

❌ No Apple Health syncing
❌ No way to control the treadmill via the app
❌ No Apple Watch integration for heart rate data

These features should be standard for a smart device. Very disappointed and regret my purchase.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does nothing. Has never done anything.

*2026-04-13, version 2.0.8*

if I can credit this company and its software team with anything, I can credit them with consistency. For many many years now, they’ve been consistently and profoundly incompetent. This company seemingly just doesn’t care about its customers, and I would search for other manufacturers, if you want to actually link your data to something useful.

### 1/5 — Can’t even set up profile

*2026-02-28, version 2.0.8*

Keeps telling me there is an internet failure when hitting the Save button. Very glitchy and unpolished.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-02-25, version 2.0.8*

App does not work. Absolutely useless! Big waste of time.

### 1/5 — Does not work at all

*2026-02-25, version 2.0.8*

Like everybody else, this app doesn’t work. I can’t get my profile because of “internet issues”.
Why even bother with the effort of making an app if you’re not even going to make sure it works or fix it after months of people complaining? Seriously, either the company or Apple should just remove this at this point. It’s an embarrassment.

### 1/5 — Total Garbage

*2026-01-04, version 2.0.8*

I sold a Lifespan TR4000i and had to pay extra for Bluetooth module for connectivity to my iPhone for tracking. To this day I have never had an anything work reliably or at all. Pure vapor ware.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t function

*2025-12-14, version 2.0.8*

Will not get past the edit user page. Reports “Internet issues”!

### 1/5 — Absolute trash

*2025-12-08, version 2.0.8*

Sooooo glad I dropped $2.5k on gym equipment with Bluetooth only to find out they don’t make a functional app to use the Bluetooth. Seriously, it won’t even let me log in.

### 1/5 — Super buggy.

*2025-11-06, version 2.0.8*

Super buggy. It is easy to lose the walking data. No ideas why it often set steps to 0 and failed to sync.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-10-26, version 2.0.8*

See title.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-08-22, version 2.0.8*

Makes me regret buying Lifespan underdesk treadmill

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better UI and UX

*2023-09-26, version 1.0.2*

Love using it with my treadmill desk!

### 2/5 — Needs a lot of improvement

*2024-04-03, version 2.0.2*

The new update is not syncing data with apple health also can you allow connectivity to watch directly. This app breaks connection to the device. The ux needs to be improved

### 2/5 — Doesn’t respect privacy

*2024-02-26, version 2.0.1*

Why is there no option to create an account? You’re asking users to login via our existing Apple, Facebook or Google accounts. What if I don’t want to give your app access to my personal accounts? This app is currently not allowing users to create account and password separately if we choose to.
