## What is LifeXP?

Live a normal day. Open LifeXP that evening and the whole day is already there: every place you stopped, every trip between them, nothing logged by hand.

LifeXP builds it in the background from location and motion, then turns your real day into a wellbeing score you never had to fill out a survey for. It all runs on your phone. Nothing leaves it.

Free to use, with an optional Pro. No account, no cloud.

YOUR DAY, REBUILT AUTOMATICALLY

This is the part people do not expect. You go about your day and LifeXP quietly assembles a private timeline of it: the places you visited, how long you spent at each, and how you traveled between them, whether you walked, cycled, drove, or took transit, and how far you went.

Nothing to log, nothing to check off. No start button to forget, no app to remember to open. It works the way a good memory would, if your memory also kept the map. It records from the day you install it, not before, and gets sharper the longer you use it.

LifeXP does not guess at places it has not learned. A new spot shows up as Unknown until you tell it what that spot is, and once you do, it remembers the place for every visit after. Trips work the same way. If it reads a drive as a walk, fix it with a tap. It shows you what it saw and lets you correct it, instead of pretending to be sure.

THE LIFEBAR

Five animated stat bars and one slow Meaning ring give you a read on your day at a glance. Each bar is a real wellbeing dimension, scored against your own baseline instead of a number someone else decided was normal.

Vitality. Joy. Drive. Calm. Connection. Meaning.

Together they make your Life Score, a single composite built on the WHO-5 wellbeing scale. Some days run high and some run low. Seeing that honestly is the point.

SIX DIMENSIONS, GROUNDED IN RESEARCH

Every score comes from published psychology.

Vitality: physical energy from steps, workouts, and sleep. Based on the Subjective Vitality Scale (Ryan and Frederick, 1997).

Joy: outdoor time, social places, and variety in where you go. From PERMA, the positive psychology framework.

Drive: hours at work, the gym, and in productive routine. Also PERMA.

Calm: rest balance, sleep quality, and how much of the day you spent driving.

Connection: time spent with people at social places, once you confirm it. PERMA.

Meaning: the slow, big-picture dimension, on a monthly clock. Drawn from Ryff's Purpose in Life work.

LifeXP only scores what the signals can honestly support. Leave your phone in a drawer all day and your bars will say so.

XP AND LEVELS

Real actions earn XP. Steps, daylight, workouts, and the morning intentions you actually follow through on by evening. Your level and XP never reset and never decay. The bars are about today. LifeXP is about the long haul.

Your avatar levels up alongside you.

A DAILY CHECK-IN, IF YOU WANT IT

Three short prompts, timed to the day: an intention in the morning, a pulse at midday, a reflection at night. All optional. They sharpen your scores and give the Meaning dimension something to work with.

WEEKLY RECAP

Every Sunday, the week in one scroll. How your bars moved, where your time went, what earned XP.

YOUR DATA NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE

Location history, health data, movement, and anything you write stay on your device. Classification runs locally with Core Motion and Apple Intelligence. There is no LifeXP cloud and no account to create. There is no server to breach because there is no server.

WHO IT IS FOR

You already track your steps, your sleep, maybe a habit or two. None of that tells you whether your life is actually getting better. LifeXP is the part that does, quietly, from what you already do, with no journal to keep and no account to make.

Install it, live a normal day, and see what it noticed.

### 5/5 — sims but real life

*2026-07-22*

i’m finding that i’m treating myself and my life like a SIMS character and looking to get to that next level. have significantly increased my movement thanks to this app. love that i don’t have to do anything to track

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-12*

This app has influenced my day to day life. It’s secure, as the files are kept locally, and highly customizable. You can add daily intentions (free) and quests (paid), which allows you to accomplish the most important things of your day. Easy to use and would recommend to anyone looking to accomplish more.

### 4/5 — Interesting little app.

*2026-07-10*

It’s fun having check ins for goals in the morning and check ins to update at night. It’s also very interesting just to have a log of where you went through out the day and some other stuff. It sort of game-ifies your life but some of the metrics don’t really make sense to me yet. I’ll update the review in a few days if I figure them out more.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-08*

I feel that there are very few apps that do what they promise to do. Life xp uses information to make useful suggestions about how we manage our own lives. It’s extremely well designed and it is making me re evaluate how I spend my time and the places and people that make life more meaningful. This all happens in an interface that feels more like a game in which you are finishing daily quests . It feels like I am moving forward by doing positive habits !

### 5/5 — Turning my life into a game

*2026-07-05*

A refreshing take on all of the other trackers out there - LifeXP is automatic (I don’t have to track anything manually) and I get meaningful insight into what I do everyday. I love building my goals in a tangible way, and this app makes it feel fun while protecting my data at the same time. Give it a try - support an individual founder!!

### 1/5 — No Bueno

*2026-07-05*

I’ve been using lifeXP for a little bit, and it’s really disappointing to see features now locked behind a paywall. Changing the value of the app after users have already invested time into it feels misleading and frustrating. I understand developer need to make money, but removing or restricting features people already had access to damages trust. Unless this is handled more transparently or existing users are grandfathered in, it’s hard to recommend this app. Deleting

**Developer response:** I appreciate the feedback! The core features are still completely free, only net new features were behind a subscription such as quests and more cosmetics. That being said, I'd be more than happy to provide you a free code to give you a long period of time. Feel free to send me an e-mail at lifexp@jessekhach.com and I'd love to help!

### 5/5 — Motivating and fun!

*2026-07-01*

This app is nostalgic and simple to keep track of the important things in life! I love that you can record your day in just a few taps and remember where you went. I wish you could do a one-time lifetime payment to access the premium stuff.

### 5/5 — Motivational

*2026-06-13*

I downloaded this on a whim, but after answering the initial questions and realizing quite bluntly that I need to work on myself. I’m hoping this would help guide me to being a happier person. Love the concept and I think it has a lot of potential.

**Developer response:** This means so much! Thank you. This was definitely a passion project, and will continually grow. Glad you are liking it and always open to feedback.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.8 — 2026-08-26

Fixed stops that stretched across hours they never happened, along with some polish & fixes.

• Stops stay bounded now. One could swallow most of a day, or a five minute errand claim two hours it never earned.
• Two stops at the same place in a row read as one block, not two rows.
• Plus optional short walk detection in Settings, and a round of smaller fixes across widgets and subscriptions.

### 1.3.7 — 2026-08-10

Mostly fixes for days that came out wrong, plus one new enhanced tracking toggle (beta).

Fixed
• Days you went a while without opening the app could come back empty.
• A quick stop on the way somewhere could swallow the rest of the day and land in the wrong place.
• Step and sleep numbers dropping to zero when the app briefly couldn't read Health.

New
• Enhanced tracking (beta), in Settings, off by default. Wakes the app after about 100m instead of a kilometre so short trips aren't missed. Uses more battery.

### 1.3.6 — 2026-07-29

Bug fixes & improvements.

### 1.3.5 — 2026-07-28

Bug fixes & improvements.

### 1.3.4 — 2026-07-24
