## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor

*2022-08-21, version 1.6*

The scale of the dials is ridiculous and why not show digital number read outs instead?

### 1/5 — Rubbish App

*2022-02-01, version 1.6*

App works....then doesn’t work....then works...then doesn’t work. Finds my battery but doesn’t give any info on it...LiFOS gave me advice to run the battery flat and then it will connect to the app...I did...it didn’t.
Utter crap

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-11-08, version 1.4*

Everytime I connect to the app it tells me the battery is empty even when it’s fully charged. It skips all over the place. A real shame as I bought this battery over others available because of this feature. I hope an update sorts out out

### 1/5 — Oddly poor app

*2019-12-01, version 1.4*

Very poorly laid out, dials are hard to read and sometimes obscured depending on your hardware. Naff retro look is at odds to the technology. Should just be four clear digital readings. It’s a shame the LiFOS graphic designers have clearly had no input. That the app doesn’t connect to the battery at times is also a pain, the ability to update the battery software from the app would be useful too.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2019-11-30, version 1.4*

Worked initially with iPhone then stopped. Recognises the battery but doesn’t give you any info on it such as state of charge, voltage etc. LiFOS have ignored my emails and numerous phone calls seeking support. It renders their particular lithium battery (not cheap) impossible to monitor.

### 2/5 — Underwhelming

*2024-09-07, version 1.6*

Difficult to read dials, but always used to connect. Now doesn’t! Battery is visible and starts flashing as soon as open app, but nothing shows in app

### 2/5 — Ok, but needs improvements.

*2021-09-24, version 1.6*

Sub zero readings are not correct. I contacted LiFOS and they said they had multiple complaints about this and would contact the app developer. I think there should be an option for digital readings as opposed to the dial gauges, the text is way too small.

### 3/5 — LIFOs App

*2025-02-06, version 1.6*

Stopped recognising my lifos

### 3/5 — LIFOs App

*2022-06-12*

Shows state of charge ok. Really can’t understand why gauges have such high numbers for voltage, wattage and amps. Battery charges at 14.4, so why are we seeing 64 with max charge rate being near the red zone. Who needs to know up to 6000 watts? Can’t imaging using 200amps, without seriously discharging. Surely amending these gages would make the app more user friendly!

### 3/5 — Good in parts

*2021-08-01, version 1.6*

Works OK, but very poor interface. The numbers are in very small font and not easy to read. This is made worse by the scales used on the analogue dials. Scales up to 6000 watts and 200 amps mean that the needle hardly moves for 3A or 40W and is useless as a guide. Up to 64V is not much better when I have a 12V battery. These sort of tweaks cannot be difficult to incorporate, either by changing the scales used or (better still) by allowing the user to set the scales. So get your app developer working on it, to match the quality of your product!!

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Been in use 5+ years

*2025-02-28, version 1.6*

I use a LiFOS battery to power my amateur radio transceiver and a laptop for outdoor operating. I have used this iPhone app to keep an eye on the charge state of the battery ever since buying the battery in 2019. It works perfectly and has never given any trouble at all.

### 5/5 — Does what it should do.

*2023-08-14, version 1.6*

If you want to know the general state of the battery, it works fine, providing all the information needed. It connects to the battery instantly, lets me know if the battery is charging, the level of charge remaining etc. etc.
I don't need a work of art, just info on my leisure battery, this app provides it. Excellent.

### 5/5 — This new version as of 11 Nov 2020 seems OK

*2020-11-12, version 1.5*

This appears to correct the previous problems with the app. I’ll now try the 105Ah on load to fully discharge and observe what happens.

### 4/5 — Ok

*2022-03-18, version 1.6*

The app connects to the battery no problem every time and the dials do what they should.

The only thing that doesn’t work, which resulted in a four star review, is the battery runtime calculator. It never shows anything other than zero

### 4/5 — Works well but need to turn of...

*2020-01-15, version 1.4*

App works really well now where as before I was struggling at times to connect, well it will connect but all I see is one of the dials move and the rest blank and that is because YOU NEED TO TAKE DARK MODE OFF IN SETTINGS on the iPhone!

### 3/5 — No dark mode

*2019-11-17, version 1.4*

App works ok and is adequate, however I found that it does not display the data in IOS13 dark mode, must be to do with the colours. It is ok in light mode.
Also, it does not remember your battery so you have to select every time or show the date/time when the data was updated so you have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting to make sure data is relevant.
