## What is Lift Heavy?

Lift Heavy is your strength-training logbook — fast, clean, no fluff. Lift heavy, track every set, and watch yourself get stronger.

CAPTURE A WORKOUT, YOUR WAY
• Say it out loud or snap a photo of a whiteboard or notebook — Lift Heavy turns it into a structured, editable workout: sets, reps, and blocks, ready to log.
• Review and fix anything before you save — tap to correct a movement, add or remove a set, nothing is logged until you say so.
• Your voice is transcribed on your device. (Workout structuring uses AI and is provided in English.)

WHY LIFT HEAVY
• Lightning-fast logging — enter weight, reps, and RPE with the built-in number pad, no keyboard in the way.
• 80+ exercises with seven input types: weight/reps, reps-only, calories/time, distance/time, time-only, distance-only, and calories-only.
• Nine block types for real training — straight sets, supersets, circuits, AMRAP, EMOM, For Time, rest-pause, drop sets, and clusters.
• Guided EMOM, Tabata, AMRAP, and For Time players that pace you through every round — on iPhone and Apple Watch.
• Automatic PR detection, so you see every new best the moment you hit it.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
• Meaningful analytics, free for everyone: volume, training density, Strength Score, body heatmap, and Swift Charts trends.
• Build full training plans in the visual builder — week by week, with progress tracking.
• Smart auto-generated warm-up sets, rounded to plates you can actually load.

SEAMLESS ACROSS DEVICES
• Apple Watch — log right from your wrist and hand off an active workout between iPhone and Watch. Structured blocks (EMOM, AMRAP, For Time, supersets, circuits) show and log on your wrist.
• Siri & Shortcuts — start and log workouts by voice.
• Import your history from Hevy, Strong, or FitNotes; export as CSV or JSON.

PRIVACY FIRST
• Your training data is yours. No tracking ads, no selling your data.

Available in English, Spanish, and German. Download the app, log your first set, and start lifting heavy.

Lift Heavy Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.

### 5/5 — Just what I’ve been looking for!

*2026-03-04*

This app is so user-friendly and I love the templates! As someone who historically has tracked workouts in the notes app, this is a game changer!

**Developer response:** Love that! The notes app grind is real. Glad Lift Heavy could level that up for you. More updates coming soon!

### 5/5 — No subscription fees!

*2026-01-30*

I was a little hesitant due to the lack of reviews, but this is just what I was looking for and love having no fees!

**Developer response:** Totally understand the hesitation -- appreciate you giving it a shot! The no-fee model is intentional. Enjoy the app!

### 5/5 — Seek and ye shall find!

*2026-01-23*

I had been looking for an app that is user friendly and tailored specifically to track lifting, and BAM!
My prayers were answered ! God is good!
If you want an easy app to use look no further!

**Developer response:** This made my day! Really appreciate the kind words. More features on the way, stay tuned!

### 5/5 — Love the calculators

*2026-01-23*

I love the 1 rep max and other calculators on this app. I’m getting older in life and 1 rep max is no longer a smart bet for me (honestly though I’m not sure it ever was). But, using these calculators, I’m able to use light or heavy weights and still track gains across a bunch of lifts.

**Developer response:** This is exactly why I built those calculators. Train smart, track progress, no ego lifting required. More calculator features in the pipeline!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.7 — 2026-08-14

CAPTURE A WORKOUT JUST BY SAYING IT — OR SNAPPING A PHOTO
• Describe your workout out loud and Lift Heavy structures it into sets, reps, and blocks for you.
• Or snap a photo of a whiteboard or notebook and get the same structured, editable workout.
• Review before you save — tap to fix a movement, add or remove a set. Nothing is logged until you're ready.
• Your voice is transcribed on your device.

Plus polish throughout: cleaner exercise details, a tidier workout list, and fixes to the guided EMOM/AMRAP timers so they keep running when you leave the screen.

Thanks for lifting heavy. Keep the feedback coming.

### 2.6 — 2026-07-25

**Sharper on your wrist. Better wins to share.**

- **Watch workouts keep running.** Start a timed block on Apple Watch, glance away
or let the screen sleep — the pacing keeps going and picks up right where it
should when you come back. EMOM, Tabata, AMRAP and For Time each got a cleaner,
redesigned player with a big countdown ring and a simple pause.
- **A calmer watch home.** Start a workout, jump into plans, or take over one
that's running on your phone — one clear tap for each.
- **New ways to share your win.** Fresh share-card styles — a blueprint Spec
Sheet, a workout Receipt, "Bison Math," and a sticker bomb — plus one-tap
sharing straight to your Instagram Story.
- **Went to failure? Show it.** Mark sets taken to failure and get a "TO FAILURE"
  badge on your share card.
- **A cleaner Progress tab.** Personal Records now shows only lifts you actually
did, the time filter works on every tab, duplicate cards are gone, and training
  density finally makes sense.
- **Easier watch logging.** Bigger, easier-to-hit buttons for logging sets on the
  wrist.
- Plus reliability fixes and polish throughout.

### 2.5 — 2026-07-09

Timed workouts that pace themselves.

• Guided players for EMOM, AMRAP & Tabata — a big countdown ring paces every interval, cues you before time runs out, and auto-advances. No more watching the clock.
• On your wrist too — the same guided player runs on Apple Watch, and a workout you start on your phone can hand off to the watch in a tap.
• HYROX race, built in one tap — drop the full 8-station race (with the 1 km runs) into any workout, ready to log.
• Smarter targets — set reps, weight, or distance on timed blocks and your sets are pre-built, so logging is a single tap.
• Better backups — export and restore now include your block workouts and plans, not just standard sets.
• Share wins to Feed or Story — pick the format and your card fits Instagram perfectly either way.

Plus reliability fixes and polish throughout.

### 2.4 — 2026-06-29

A fresh new look, plus more power on your wrist.

Structured workouts now run on Apple Watch: EMOM, AMRAP, For Time, supersets, and circuits all show and log from your wrist.
New swipeable share cards to show off your sessions.
Now available in German (beta).
Faster, smoother, and a handful of fixes under the hood.

Thanks for lifting with us. Questions or ideas? Reach out anytime.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-06-03
