## What is Lift Ledger?

Lift Ledger is a workout tracker for people who want to log their training and watch it improve - nothing more, nothing less. No social feed, no streaks nagging you, no adverts. Just a clean record of what you lifted and proof that it's going up.

TODAY'S SESSION, READY TO GO
Open the app and today's workout is already laid out, set by set. Tap a weight, log your reps, move on. The rest timer starts itself between sets. When you finish, it's saved to your history with the date and the day's routine.

FOLLOW A PLAN OR BUILD YOUR OWN
Start one of the ready-made programmes in a single tap, or create your own routines from a catalogue of hundreds of exercises — barbell, dumbbell, machine, cable, bodyweight and more. Flag warm-up sets, set per-side movements, and give each exercise its own targets.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Every exercise keeps its own history, so you can see at a glance whether your working weight is climbing. Personal records are flagged automatically. Switch to the graph and your logged sets become a simple line you can actually read.

SCAN A PLAN YOU ALREADY HAVE
Got a workout in a PDF or on a web page? Point Lift Ledger at it and it reads the exercises, sets and reps into a routine you can follow — no retyping.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Everything is tied to your account and protected so only you can see it. There are no adverts and no third-party tracking. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app at any time.

BUILT FOR THE GYM FLOOR
Large tap targets, works one-handed, and keeps working when the wifi doesn't.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-11

A lick of paint across the whole app, a friendlier first week, and supersets that finally look like supersets.

SUPERSETS, DONE PROPERLY
• Paired exercises now appear as one bracketed group — on Today, in your workout, and in plan previews — so you can see at a glance what goes together.
• Mid-workout, the "up next" highlight now alternates between the paired moves the way a real superset runs, instead of finishing one exercise first.
• A one-time tip explains supersets the first time your session includes one.

A SMOOTHER START
• If your first day on a plan lands on a rest day, Today now points you straight to the nearest workout with a start button — no more dead end.
• Tips now appear one at a time instead of piling up, and they're easier to read.
• Progress no longer shows empty stats before you've trained.

A TIDIER APP
• Plans are easier to scan: each plan reads as one clear name with its details underneath, and finished blocks show a quiet status chip.
• Tap any exercise name in a plan's day preview to see exactly how it's done — photos and steps included.
• The Today screen is cleaner, and Sign out has moved to Account where it belongs.
• The app now stays in portrait — no more accidental sideways flip when your phone's propped on the bench.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-07-25

A quick fix.

• Fixed a problem where opening the feedback box could zoom the screen in and leave it stuck, with things cut off. Writing and sending feedback now behaves properly.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-07-24

Pounds or kilograms — your choice. And a direct line to me.

KG OR LB, YOUR CALL
• A new Weight units setting under Account. Pick pounds or kilograms and every set you log from then on uses it.
• If you're in the US, the app now starts in pounds automatically — no setting to go and find.
• Workouts you've already logged keep the units they were recorded in. Nothing is converted behind your back, so your numbers stay exactly as you lifted them.

TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG
• A new Send feedback screen under Account (and at the foot of "How it works"). Say what's broken or what you'd like — it comes through with your app version, so it can actually be looked into and replied to.

ALSO FIXED
• The rest timer's auto-start switch now looks and moves like a proper switch.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-07-23

See how every move is done, and make the app yours.

HOW TO DO IT
• Every exercise now has a demo — start/end photos and clear steps. Tap an exercise's "..." during a workout, or find it under Progress, and choose "How to do it". Tap a photo to expand it full-screen.
• Choosing a swap or adding an exercise? Each one now shows a photo, so you can see at a glance what it is.

MAKE THE REST TIMER YOURS
• A new Rest timer section under Account: turn off the auto-start if you'd rather it didn't pop up, and set your own default length.

CLEARER PLAN SCANNING
• When you scan a plan, it now asks plainly whether it runs on set weekdays or "in sequence" (do the next workout whenever you train) — no more guessing with the day buttons.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-07-20

The biggest update yet — easier to read, quicker to use, and it finally understands plans that aren't tied to weekdays.

EASIER TO READ ON THE GYM FLOOR
• Bigger weights, reps and timers, with more contrast — no more squinting between sets.
• The workout screen has been stripped back to what you actually need mid-set.
• Skip and Swap now live behind a "···" button, so each exercise reads clearly.

PLANS THAT AREN'T A WEEKLY TIMETABLE
• A plan can now run "in sequence" — do the next workout whenever you train, no fake weekdays.
• Today tells you what's up next, remembers where you got to, and says "trained today" once you're done.
• Fixed-length blocks show your progress through them and celebrate the finish.

A CLEARER APP
• Your live workout now follows you as a bar you can tap from anywhere.
• History is now Progress, and leads with your charts instead of hiding them.
• A fresh look throughout: bolder titles, cleaner lists, and a satisfying stamp when you log a set.

NEW HERE?
• A gentle first run with tips that appear once, plus a "How it works" page under Account.

SCANNING A PLAN
• One simple question — paste text, a web link, or a PDF — instead of three competing options.
• It now warns you if it matches, say, a dumbbell exercise to a barbell one.
