### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-26*

This app has genuinely changed my life. I used to think I was exercising and eating at a high level. But Lift Run Fuel has made me reevaluate what I thought the ceiling was for a fitness app and what I thought I was capable of achieving. I went from starting from scratch to losing 8 pounds in two months. And it’s never felt this effortless to be at the peak of my game.

I have everything I need at the tip of my fingers, instantly. An unlimited library of Nutritional information, being able to import my own recipes and have them portioned into serving sizes in real time, taking a picture of food and having the app recognize it, you name it.

Everything is tracked from your health and what you input into the logs in real time. It gives you achievable goals to work towards in the form of a skill tree. Which is maddeningly addictive. Whether you are a professional athlete or taking the first step off the couch towards your new improved life, Lift Run Fuel has you covered.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-07-24*

Does everything I want a workout tracking app to do. Easily able to setup workouts, track reps at the gym, and view progress over time. Also love the ability to log sets from my watch and view the rest timer so I don’t have to keep getting my phone out.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-02

NEW
• Share your workout: a summary card of your session — top sets, PRs, total lifted
• Every tab opens with what's next: your upcoming lift day, planned run, or the next rung on a calisthenics ladder
• Light, Dark, or Auto theme in Settings
• Quicker first-time setup: pick what you train and the app arranges itself around it

IMPROVED
• Home cards show real numbers ("12.4 mi this week", "1,850 kcal left") instead of generic buttons
• Empty charts show a clearly marked sample, so you can see what you're building toward
• Bigger, higher-contrast labels throughout
• Editing sets synced from your watch is a lot snappier
• On the watch, a set's checkmark fills in solid once your phone has actually received it

FIXED
• Runs recovered after a crash or force-quit now always save, route and splits included
• The watch sometimes said "save failed" while Apple Health was still finishing . It now waits for the real answer
• Sets logged on your watch with your phone in a pocket can no longer get lost
• Entering your bodyweight in kg during setup stored the wrong number
• Plus plenty of small fixes: popups no longer stack on first open, messages don't cover the tab bar, labels fit smaller phones

### 1.2.1 — 2026-07-26

Training load, over time. Tap the training-load card on any workout to see long-term fitness and short-term load as a trend, plus your effort across recent sessions of the same type.

More accurate effort. Workouts your watch samples infrequently were scoring a fraction of their real load - a long session could read "87% lower than typical" when it simply wasn't sampled often. Effort and TRIMP now reflect the whole session.

Meals are priced as you ate them. "2 slices bacon" or "6 oz chicken breast" in Describe your meal now count as cooked food, not raw, and an amount written after the food ("chicken, 8 oz") is kept instead of dropped.

Scanned labels read cleaner. Duplicate serving rows for the same amount are collapsed, so the list matches the panel on the package.

Workout details open instantly instead of waiting on Apple Health, and can't be opened twice by an impatient tap.

Charts you can interrogate. Drag across the lift, run and calisthenics charts to inspect any point. Distances and weights follow your km/kg setting everywhere, including the week review. Tapping a PR notification opens that lift's chart, not the first one alphabetically.

Also in this release:
- What Fits and the 88-chain restaurant menu show each chain's real name
- Ending a workout is clearer: one tap, a visible "Ending workout..." state, and Done can't be double-tapped into a mess
- Fixed a sync bug that could revert a recipe or saved meal edited on a second device
- Rest cues you can actually hear when the timer ends on your watch and your phone is locked
- Interval pace no longer renders as "4:60"
- A tidier Home: one week summary row instead of two

### 1.2 — 2026-07-24

• Restaurant menus — 88 chains, 18,000+ items with full nutrition, browsable by brand
• What Fits, smarter — ranks food by your protein gap, shows near-misses, 5 sort modes
• One calorie number — target and What Fits agree; choose if workouts add calories back
• Apple Watch rebuilt — end from either device, fix mislogged sets, honest PRs, VoiceOver
• Live workout bar — end any workout from your phone
• Better results outside the US, plus a two-device sync fix

### 1.1 — 2026-07-23

What's New in 1.1
Apple Watch
• Workouts ended from the wrist now save reliably to Apple Health
• Log button is pinned on every exercise screen — no more scrolling to find it
• Live runs show real GPS data, with a clear alert if the phone loses contact
• Weekly exercise swaps and skipped exercises now show correctly on the wrist
Running
• The big clock now shows moving time, with current pace beside your average
• Hold-to-finish so a stray touch can't end your run
• GPX export and per-mile splits on every tracked run
• Smarter indoor and weak-GPS distance tracking
Lifting
• Auto-start rest timer on set completion (optional)
• Session summary when you finish: duration, volume, and PRs
• PRs now count reps as well as weight
Nutrition
• Redesigned food log: calorie ring, macro bars, and meal cards
• Favorites and "copy yesterday" for faster logging
• Adaptive calorie targets that learn from your actual results
Recovery
• Connect Oura or Fitbit to power your readiness score
• Smarter daily coaching that adapts across lifting, running, and nutrition
Plus a new font option, larger minimum text size, pinch-to-zoom, reorganized settings, and many fixes.

### 1.03 — 2026-07-15

Fixed a bug where starting a workout on your Apple Watch could close the screen you had open in the app.

The calorie goal screen now shows the current weight your targets are based on and lets you change it right there, and the default activity and calorie estimates are more realistic.

Restaurant search is much deeper now. Search a chain and get its full menu (McDonald's, Chipotle, Wendy's and more), plus nicknames like "bw3." Food logging opens on the real label serving (2 tbsp peanut butter, not a cup), and scanned drinks log as a can. The rest timer is back in the Dynamic Island. Apple Watch: outdoor runs and walks no longer crash, workouts save to Health properly, and you can start a run on your watch and follow it live on your phone. GPS timers no longer freeze. New: Send feedback in Settings.
