### 3/5 — Random fee?

*2026-08-29, version 2.15.4*

It’s been doing a great job tracking my progress but a couple minutes ago I just got a random fee for 85 dollars. I already paid for the yearly subscription which was around 90 but that was only about 3 months ago.

### 3/5 — Needs more effort

*2026-08-28, version 2.15.4*

The amount of exercises and ability to keep track is nice, but the progression and plans are barebones and the method of adding difficulty to the same exercise is just increasing by 1-2 reps.

Multiple plans for the strength category don’t actually exist and just redirect to another workout plan. This is lame as some of those are much more tailored to my goals but I can’t even do them.

It’s a decent app and I have 100+ day streak, but it really should have more effort put into it based on the money it asks for and that I’ve already paid.

### 4/5 — Reps

*2026-08-28, version 2.15.4*

Lift off is a great app however I have a major problem recently I have performed very high numbers of reps but with a fairly small weight due to accessibility to higher weights being limited but despite these very high number of reps my rank has not increased I seem to understand that this is due to the calculation method used by the app fails after so many reps so I know it may be a lot to ask but is there some way to fix this or atleast give a warning when the rep limit is reached as I worked very hard to be disappointed and I believe many more people will have this same problem and not know their true rank

Thanks in advance

### 2/5 — Just started.

*2026-08-28, version 2.15.4*

I had to sign up 3 times. First time it put me as the 2nd best rank, 2nd time I was wood 3, now I’m in gold. So i feel like this was just a cortisol overload I didn’t need at all. Hope it doesn’t suck in the future.

### 4/5 — Does too much

*2026-08-28, version 2.15.4*

The app is good, it certainly looks like it can help a lot of people out. I am not one of those people. I downloaded the app for one reason: to see the ranks I have for my workouts. I workout in a way I like: minimally structured, loose requirements, etc, and it’s worked great for months. I have a solid routine, diet, and everything needed to make progress. Liftoff doesn’t quite account for that, you only get 3 free rank calculations (plus one after downloading the app), and it annoys me because I have over 20 that I regularly do. This wouldn’t be a big problem if it weren’t for the fact that the app also wants to workout WITH me, not just track progress. Instead of being able to punch in numbers after a workout, it forces me to have it actually be integrated into the workout. And again, this isn’t a bad thing, it just isn’t my kind of app. I can’t reasonably rate this app lower than 4 stars. What I can say is that if you don’t have a well structured routine, this app is great. If you do have a well structure routine, I’d suggest against getting it.

### 5/5 — Peak

*2026-08-26, version 2.15.4*

Peak

### 5/5 — Fun concept

*2026-08-26, version 2.15.3*

Love the idea and makes gym progression feel very gratifying; only slight caveat is that the accuracy of the rankings should be taken with a grain of salt since different machines function in their own unique ways

### 5/5 — 10/10 App

*2026-08-25, version 2.15.3*

Liftoff is hands down the best fitness tracking app i have ever used. The interface is clean and makes tracking heavy lifts, sets and reps completely seamless. It’s so motivating looking back at your progrsss and rising up the ranks. I highly recommend it

### 5/5 — Honest review

*2026-08-25, version 2.15.3*

My honest review is this app is insanely good. For a month it was only 7 bucks for 1 month trial and it feels like it should be atleast 20 a month. Ranks lifts, calculates food, Saves workouts and shows proper form everything you need. Definitely gonna keep continuing to use this app.

### 5/5 — 🤟🏽

### 5/5 — Perfect fro tracking Progress

*2026-08-24, version 2.15.3*

I love Liftoff Because since using it and tracking every kilogram of weight ive pushed or pulled my numbers have continued to rise and i feel motivated since i can see the progress with my eyes

### 2/5 — Horrendous service

*2026-08-24, version 2.15.3*

Customer service is absolutely horrendous and just wants to secure your money without helping you with issues, I cannot recommend for this reason. Seek some of the alternative options to this app providing the same service!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

### 5/5 — Great experience

*2026-08-24, version 2.15.3*

### 5/5 — It’s a great app

*2026-08-24, version 2.15.3*

It’s like having your personal coach

### 2/5 — Hard to use

*2026-08-23, version 2.15.3*

The app is quite good except it’s very complicated with no instructions

### 5/5 — My favorite app

*2026-08-23, version 2.15.3*

This is one of the greatest ideas in software. Applying the ranked gameplay concept to fitness could not work out any better. 10/10 and I can’t wait to see what they add as this ages!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Subscription

*2026-08-30, version 2.15.4*

Don’t make someone setup their account and preferences if they’re just going to be trapped into getting a subscription to use the app more. Really bad

### 1/5 — ladrao

*2026-08-28*

aplicativo fala que vai descontar 30 e poucos mensal, aí chega lá é 400. a vontade de por na justiça é enorme, tirou o dinheiro que eu já não tinha

### 1/5 — Scammed me out of $100 and charged me a further $50

*2026-08-22, version 2.15.3*

I got hit by the $100 renewal when it showed on my statement, and because it was so high, I moved to cancel it. They offered me a $50 annual rate, so I accepted. Expensive but more reasonable. They charged me for BOTH! $100 charge renews ~aug 15 next year, while the $50 charge renews ~aug 19 of next year. Sent an email but no response.
What a shame. I expect prompt responses and more transparency when it comes to expensive products like this.

In terms of the app, however. My only qualms is that performance is slow, and I wish it could be easier/more accessible to view your past workouts.

Where it not for this fiasco I would have rated this app 4 stars or higher.
Yet again, what a shame.

### 1/5 — Lol

*2026-08-21, version 2.15.3*

Hilarious subscription price

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-21, version 2.15.3*

They offer a deal then when you arnt paying attention they will charge you a year when they were only suppose to charge a month. when you email and message all of their support accounts they just magically don’t have access to them. Will be contacting my bank. Do better lift off

### 1/5 — Cost money to use

*2026-08-20, version 2.15.3*

Not worth using unless u wana give money to something u can literally use ChatGPT to do for free

### 1/5 — カス

*2026-08-19*

アカウント作り終わる時に金かかるって知ったわ時間の無駄

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-08-17, version 2.15.2*

They said that it was free but that’s not true because it costs money
About 100 a year or even more

### 1/5 — Refund

*2026-08-15, version 2.15.2*

Didn’t let me refund the subscription and then charged me after it said I had a free trial and never notified me before I turned it off.

### 1/5 — Billed $80 with no “reminder” to cancel as offered by the app

*2026-08-15, version 2.15.2*

I’ve seen a lot of the 1-star reviews on here relate to how the app gives u a free trial, and asks if you want to be reminded to cancel it in advance. I had the same situation where I was trying out the app, and saw an $80 payment go through. No cancelation reminder. The same day I requested to cancel it, providing valid reasons and prompt cancelation time. I have never had an issue with the Apple store providing a refund from more reputable apps, especially if it has only been ~1 day and I haven’t used the app or the subscription benefits.

Don’t advertise notifying about canceling the subscription before the trial ends if you aren’t going to. I normally set my own personal reminders and this influenced me to just rely on the app. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Good App

*2026-08-26*

Very good app

### 5/5 — Fun

*2026-08-26, version 2.15.4*

If you’re lacking motivation to go to the gym or if you just want something to go along with the gym, it’s like a fun little mini game you can put in in between your sets and you get a visual representation of your progress feels way better than just a little ding that an app like heavy uses
