## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-01

App Store "What's New in This Version"

• Compound Sets — build your own combos, like lateral raises into front raises, with any
number of exercises. Each movement still tracks its own weight, reps, and PRs.

• Edit Any Exercise — rename or fine-tune anything in the library, including built-in
exercises. Your edits survive app updates, and your history follows the rename.

• Warm-Ups Excluded from Stats — warm-up sets are still logged, but they no longer skew
your volume, averages, or personal records. Existing records were recalculated.

• A Better Exercise Library — compounds get their own category and filter, search now
covers category and equipment, and backups keep your warm-up markings.

• Smoother Logging — one clean keyboard bar with Previous/Next/Done, no more phantom
sets from stray taps, and a set list that stays still while you type.

### 1.5 — 2026-06-24

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where adding an exercise mid-workout and completing a single set would incorrectly mark the entire exercise as done.
Fixed corrupted personal record stats (e.g., impossibly large rep counts or volume) caused by typo entries that were later deleted. Use Rebuild PR Records in Settings → Debug to reset any affected exercises.

Workout Tracking

Workouts now record an exact finish time, shown as a start → finish timeline on the workout summary.
The Set log now shows the elapsed time from the workout start for each completed set.
New in-workout chart displays weight, reps, RPE, and volume per set across the session, color-coded by exercise.

Progress Tab

Quick stats now show Week Volume and Month Volume instead of all-time total volume.
Removed the redundant "This Week" workout count card.

Exercise Library

Added Rope Tricep Pulldown (cable, triceps, beginner) — distinct from Cable Tricep Pushdown with the rope spread variation at lockout. The library is now at v1.9, with 238 exercises.

Recurring Activities

New: set up recurring activities on a weekly schedule (specific days, weekdays, or every day). Past scheduled sessions are auto-logged when you open the Activities tab.
Manage recurring activities from the Activities tab — tap to edit, long-press for pause or delete.

Settings

Added Rebuild PR Records under Settings → Debug to fix any corrupted personal record stats.

### 1.4 — 2026-04-14

Workout Timer with Auto-Pause

++ Workout timer now automatically pauses when you lock your phone or switch apps, ensuring only actual training time is tracked
++ Visual pause indicator shows exactly how long you've been on break (e.g., "Paused for 2:34")
++ After 5 minutes of being paused (user adjustable), you'll receive a friendly reminder to resume or continue your break
++ Prevents accidentally inflated workout durations from phone calls, messages, or other interruptions

Improved Data Entry Experience

++ Smoother keyboard handling when entering weights, reps, and RPE values
++ Simply tap between fields to switch inputs naturally
++ Swipe down on the workout list to dismiss the keyboard
++ Better input validation prevents accidental entry of unrealistic values

Enhanced Coach Export

++ Exercise notes are now included in both JSON and PDF exports
++ Your form cues, observations, and training notes are shared with your coach for better personalized guidance
++ More complete training context for analysis and coaching feedback

Exercises

++ I added 106 new exercises to the library. It's still not complete, but I'm getting there.
++ Added data safety features to prevent accidental workout data loss
++ Added app tutorial with beginner friendly exercises templates so you can start using the app right away!

Weekly Training Intensity

++ New card showing this week's training volume
++ Track total sets, average RPE, and workout duration
++ Daily volume breakdown chart
++ See your training patterns at a glance

Bug Fixes:

++ Fixed keyboard dismissal consistency across all note fields
++ Improved focus management for number input fields
++ Reduced excessive spacing in exercise cards for cleaner layout
