## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.8 — 2026-08-15

- The free tier now includes your last 30 days of history, the 30 day muscle heatmap, up to 5 programs and 5 custom exercises, with logging, personal records, the colour key and sharing always free.
- Pro brings together the deeper tools: your complete history, the 60 and 90 day heatmap windows, full trend charts, balance analysis, ranked alternatives, one tap bulk deload, PDF export and unlimited custom exercises.

### 1.4.7 — 2026-08-14

LiftSheet 1.4.7 puts the muscle map one tap away everywhere, and shows you exactly what every exercise trains.

Tap any muscle pill
- Every muscle pill in the app is now tappable. Tap one and the colour key opens with that muscle lit on the body, flipped to the side that shows it.

See what an exercise targets
- Every exercise guide has a new "See targeted muscles" option. It opens a body figure with the main muscle in full colour and the supporting muscle shaded, so you can see exactly what you are training before you pick.

Secondary muscles on your program screens
- Program exercise rows now show the supporting muscle next to the main one, so a day's real coverage is visible without opening each exercise.

Polish throughout
- The balance audit now wears a body figure icon that matches the muscle key.
- Icons across the app now sit at consistent sizes, from info buttons to menus.
- The workout card header gives exercise names more room, and the BW badge lines up with the icons beside it.
- The seated dumbbell good morning guides now describe the seated movement correctly.
- The app now confirms your subscription before showing any free tier messaging, so subscribers never see an upgrade prompt flash at launch.

### 1.4.6 — 2026-08-10

LiftSheet 1.4.6 shows your training on your muscles, and adds a colour key so every muscle name makes sense at a glance.

See your muscles
- A new muscle heatmap shows where your training volume has gone. Brighter means more sets, on a real body figure you can flip between front and back and male or female.
- A new Muscles tab in Progress puts the heatmap and a full per muscle breakdown in one place.

A colour key for every muscle
- Tap the key on any exercise picker or muscle list to see a body coloured to match the muscle pills, so you always know which area a muscle name refers to.
- Tap a colour to light up just that muscle and flip to the side that shows it, or highlight a whole region with Upper, Core and Lower.

Balance, tab by tab
- The program balance view now splits into Balance and Muscles tabs, with a planned volume heatmap for the exercises in your program.

Move an exercise and add a day
- When you move or copy an exercise to another program, you can add a new day on the spot. A three day program becomes four, with the exercise on the new day.

A gentler start for beginners
- New onboarding helps first time lifters get going faster.

Go deeper with Pro
- Pro unlocks the deeper analysis: muscle balance and movement pattern ratios, progress trend charts, and ranked exercise alternatives. Everyday logging, your programs, history, PRs, the muscle heatmap and the colour key stay free. If you already use the deeper features, you keep them.

### 1.4.5 — 2026-07-09

LiftSheet 1.4.5 makes your strength numbers truer and your logging quicker.

A truer estimated one-rep max
- Barbell lifts now fold in the bar before estimating your max, so the number matches the real load you moved.
- The standard barbell is 20 kg by default and adjustable in Settings. EZ and trap bars use their own bar weights, and Smith machine work is left out.
- You will see this on each exercise's estimated max in Progress. Nothing you have logged changes.

Set your reps once, every set follows
- Change the reps on a set and every set you have not logged yet updates to match, so a 3 by 8 exercise reads the same across all its sets.
- Sets you have already completed keep the reps you recorded, so your history is untouched.

Next session's plan starts from what you lifted
- The post-workout "Customise for next session" editor now opens on the weights you actually logged, matching the set pills above it.
- Entering a weight there uses the same on-screen keypad as the rest of the app.

The set you are adjusting stays put
- Tap a set to change it and it stays in view instead of scrolling off, so the set and its controls stay together.

### 1.4.4 — 2026-07-04

LiftSheet 1.4.4 makes your volume numbers more accurate, keeps History fast, and lets your Pro access follow you.

Accurate dumbbell volume
- Two-dumbbell exercises now count both dumbbells in your training volume, so a 10 kg dumbbell curl adds 20 kg to your weekly and monthly totals.
- Single-dumbbell moves such as one-arm rows and goblet squats are counted once.
- The weight you log and your personal records still use the number on the dumbbell. Only your volume stats reflect the fuller load, so some past dumbbell sessions read higher.

History that stays fast
- The History tab opens and scrolls smoothly no matter how many sessions you have logged. If you have a long history, this is the release you will feel most.

Your Pro access follows you
- Restore Purchases brings back a purchase you already own, including a promo-code redemption, on a fresh install or a new device on the same Apple ID.

A tidier set editor
- The set editor controls sit where your thumb expects them, with a clearer expand control and the log button under the set row.
