### 5/5 — Amazing Top Coaches

*2025-04-07*

I would only trust the “TOP” coaches (they have a badge next to their name) - and they are top coach for a reason. Trust the coaches with higher session numbers and high reviews. But you can get 5 free messages with any coach to figure out who is a fit and aligns with you. This is coaching and not therapy so the coach is allowed to give advice. It’s a more relaxed/casual service which I really enjoy because it removes the pressure. Be sure to specifically ask for advice if you want advice because coaches are trained to just ask open ended questions. So if you want specific advice you need to ask for it. I love LiftTalk and it has tremendously improved my life. I have one coach I talk to every other day almost but I have sampled many of the coaches. That’s the beauty of this app! You can talk to a coach for as little or long as you want. No commitments!

Great coaches are:

Lady B
Sammi B
Alicia P
Aura D
Alana G
Maria M
Dorin H
Cristina P

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2025-03-26*

‪‭I love the Liftalk so much. It provides me with a safe and supportive environment where I can find professional coaches to help me navigate through various relationship issues that I encounter in my life. The one-on-one session feature of this app gives me a lot of assurance, knowing that all my conversations are protected. What's more, there's always an online coach available whenever I need help. The fiexible scheduling of this app fits my schedule, allowing me to get support at any time. Most importantly, the cost of this app is very reasonable, allowing me to get the help I need without any financial stress. I highly recommend Liftalk to anyone who needs relationship guidance.

### 4/5 — Create a better atmosphere for coaches and users with this one modification/addition to the app

*2025-02-09, version 8.0.7*

I want to create a platform that ensures the protection of coaches because if someone is experiencing negative situations caused by users being inappropriate, it will inevitably affect the coach’s ability to provide the best kind of help. This is not the coach’s fault, as this is simply a normal reaction to an abnormal situation. However, if I’m going to ask coaches for help, I want to make sure they are protected.

I believe one way to facilitate this protection is by giving coaches the ability to rate users. This way, if someone has damaged their reputation and their rating is low, they will understand why coaches might not want to work with them or respond to them. It’s important to ensure fairness because, for example, if someone like me tries to be very respectful to my coaches, while someone else—let’s call him Joe (a hypothetical character)—is disrespectful somewhere during their interactions, there currently wouldn’t be a way for coaches to differentiate between us before communicating. This issue needs to be addressed.

If Joe has consistently been rude or inappropriate with coaches, his ratings would reflect that, and coaches could use this information to decide whether or not to engage with him. On the other hand, someone like me, who tries to be respectful and cooperative, would have a better rating, giving coaches more confidence in working with me. This system would help distinguish between users based on their behavior, and it would enable users who are respectful to get help and attention faster than those who are being disrespectful, which I think is fair. If both Joe and I have to wait the same amount of time to be seen, it’s unfair to me and to the coaches. Coaches could lose good clients like me because they are spending time dealing with someone who is obviously parasitic to the system.

To make the rating process easier and more structured, coaches should be provided with a multiple-choice list of reasons when giving a client a rating of less than 4 out of 5 stars. For example, the list might include options such as:

- **Disrespectful behavior**
- **Failure to follow agreed-upon guidelines**
- **Inappropriate or abusive language**
- **Uncooperative or disruptive attitude**
- **Lack of engagement or follow-through**

After selecting one or more reasons, coaches would also have the option to provide a brief explanation in a text field. This explanation should remain professional and avoid disclosing private details, especially when it comes to mental health-related matters. The goal is to provide constructive feedback while maintaining privacy and professionalism.

A client’s profile should include their overall rating, which would allow coaches to assess a client’s reputation before engaging. I’m not suggesting that coaches rate clients harshly or unfairly. In fact, coaches should receive training or guidelines to ensure they approach client ratings thoughtfully. By providing a structured system for feedback, we ensure fairness and consistency across the platform.

By implementing this system, we create accountability for clients while protecting coaches, ensuring a more respectful and effective working relationship for everyone involved.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend to use

*2024-11-28, version 8.0.0*

Even though I don’t have money to spend on the therapist I still get fantastic advice from professionals where I have 5 messages which is enough. They are fast responders and the app recommends you to at least 3 professionals

### 1/5 — I got ripped off, wasted $40 for 15 mins (supposed to be 20 mins) and received unhelpful advice

*2024-11-27, version 8.0.0*

This is my first time using the app, I came for guidance because I was feeling at my lowest. There are a lot of coaches to pick from so I chose one because she seemed to be professional on the topics I needed help with. There are 5 free messages that you can use to try and explain your situation as best as possible (which I did end up using the word limit). She validated my feelings and mostly asked questions like how old am I, how long I’ve been in the relationship, etc. (🚨pay attention to how they are during the free 5 messages. If they don’t try to give you advice immediately (preferably multiple 1 min voice messages, then I recommend you to not take them). This should’ve been a red flag to me but it’s my first time trying to talk with a therapist, so I didn’t know. So I decide to go with her and immediately she starts with “you may not like this advice but i recommend you to research online for books, videos or podcasts” (ends up not giving an example/name). This is the second 🚩. I decided to be nice and wait to see what she has to say but ends up saying advice that you can literally receive from a friend (you got this, try to be more confident with yourself and believe in yourself) after that I was like ok I’m done. So I ended 5 minutes early. During the session I looked up online if I can get refund for unused time and it said yes. But when I tried getting a refund the coach denied it. Then I tried going to customer service and they ultimately told me that refunds are up to coaches, they can decide to accept or reject (most likely they would want to reject to keep the money) and I also found out if you use a coupon they don’t give back the unused time to your app wallet. I saw the coupon “welcome gift” and I thought they were literally being kind but it turns out to be a freaking trap 🤦🏽‍♀️ you can’t get any refunds if you use coupons. I wasted my time and money. The coach must be happy bc she earned easy money within 15 minutes. I’m never using this app again and I wouldn’t recommend it. But if you truly want to use it, I suggest to be careful with the coupons (no refunds🚨) and to pick an agent that immediately gives you advice (multiple 1 minute voice messages). They are the ones that truly want to help you. Don’t even pick the messaging option because she typed so slow and wasted more time like that. She could’ve used voice messages. I wouldn’t want you to risk it. And if you have a feeling that they’re aren’t going to advice good advice, end the session immediately 🚨. Don’t try to be nice and hear them out . You’ll end up losing your money.

### 3/5 — Cool app but yet another total money grab

*2024-11-22*

It’s a good app the only thing that makes it great is the variety of people available to help and most seem genuine in wanting to help. What makes it a 3 star (3.5 if I could)? Well it’s the outrageous costs 216$ +fees to be able to talk to someone for an hour??? Huge huge turnoff and the more I think about it

### 1/5 — Robbery

*2024-11-17, version 7.9.0*

If you don’t use your full session, just know that you will not get that money back. Even if they say “it’s going to be refunded to you” it will only come as a credit. What a scam. I got nothing out of this app and it was a waste of money. So disgusting to have people take advantage of mental health resources.

### 1/5 — What a joke

*2024-11-06, version 7.9.0*

This app is a knock off cam girl site. These people are not professional. If you have a sexual addiction don't come here. Seeing women naked on here is super easy. Made my problem worst. Addicts don't have control. You would think they would help but they don't

### 1/5 — Robbery

*2024-10-24*

This is a great tool for those who need immediate help but if you don’t use your full session, just know that you will not get that money back. Even if they say “it’s going to be refunded to you.” What a scam.

### 5/5 — Best Therapy App Ever!

*2024-10-20*

This app is easy to navigate. It’s easy to find a therapist for all categories like depression, anxiety, dating advice, LGBTQ, etc. Your first five messages to send to your therapist are free. They always have different sessions to buy and many are affordable.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-05-23*

This app is bs full of money hungry people. None show their credentials, my post was being deleted simply because of my religious beliefs. Half of the so called “therapists” can’t speak correctly. DO NOT spend money. They take hours to respond and all they want is for you to keep putting money in their pockets. AGAIN they constantly delete posts that have anything to do with religion but keep posts about “psychics”

### 1/5 — Different rules for different people?

*2026-03-13*

I saw MULTIPLE posts from several days ago, from today, from whenever that would all include a tiny sentence mentioning they have no money but need someone to talk to. They would have hundreds of views, maybe 50 comments of people saying to message them and that their rates are low or to just message them and they would talk for free.

Those posts all stayed up. But my post that was up not even 24 hours got removed because I did the exact same thing and it said, “All sessions are paid.” So I’d love to know how it’s fair that some of these people make posts that get to stay up for days and days when they say they can’t pay for a session, but then my long post about just needing anyone to talk to gets removed the same day.

It seemed like it might’ve been a good app — even if I don’t agree with the fact that everyone has to pay something to chat with any of the “therapists” — but I genuinely do not see how that is fair.

### 1/5 — No point in using the app if I can’t have a free trial to talk

*2026-02-11, version 8.6.5*

What happened to the 3 message free trial? Useless and greedy

### 1/5 — Fake app be warned

*2025-12-25, version 8.5.6*

This app are scammers they put add then want to claim that you have other accounts with them I never heard of them until instagram false advertisement supposed to have 5 minutes free never had them I will be going to apple to have them taken off of App Store and if I could I would give a zero star review

### 1/5 — The psychics are rude!!

*2025-11-25*

The psychics on here are rude! Guy gave me a false answer because he didn’t want to answer my question.. he said he needed more information but never asked for it so he just gave me any kind of answer. Please go to a different app that really cares to communicate with you and be respectful. Everyone deserves respect until they’re disrespected. His name on here was Aram. A .. a lot of them will ignore you if they don’t like your question or you don’t give them a full background about your life! Real readers don’t need that they gather the information they need and do your reading and 9/10 know the rest because they’re just that good! Please go somewhere else guys

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2025-11-01, version 8.4.8*

DO NOT GET THIS APP!!! They scammed me and asked me to book another session through my whole session.

### 1/5 — No no !!!!

*2025-10-23, version 8.4.8*

Are scam artists!!!/ I paid
the $1.00 (something) fee , I did not even get connected?!!!! / what an rip- ripp off !!!!: etc..

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-05-25, version 8.2.5*

They post 50% off coupons but do not honor them. When I contacted them about this, they said the coupon I used was “expired”. I downloaded the app and had a session 5 mins after downloading…how was it already expired? Ask for a 50% refund and was denied. Awful customer service and deceitful advertising.

### 1/5 — A total scam!

*2025-03-30, version 8.2.0*

If you are a woman with dignity and looking to work for them, don’t! The management is looking for women who will enjoy all the dirty talk and comply with the & tend to the needs of all the perverts using the app. This app needs to seriously investigated! Its not a mental health app!

### 1/5 — Take this review as you will because I have never had an interaction with the coaches.

*2025-02-24, version 8.1.0*

The coaches profiles are just creepy seriously it straight up just looks like ai

### 5/5 — Help When You Need It

*2026-08-15*

The insurance paid apps say they will help with in 24 hours but once you get matched you find out you could be waiting over a week for help and most don’t offer help on the weekend. I found the help I needed on LiftTalk and was able to communicate how I felt comfortable , no forced video or calls. The price is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend there are a lot of skilled and helpful people to choose from.

### 5/5 — Nice space to clear my head

*2026-04-21*

I don’t use LiftTalk every day, but it’s been really helpful when I need it. It’s easy to get started, and I like that there’s no pressure, you can just talk at your own pace.
The conversations feel natural, not forced, which makes a big difference.
Sometimes I just need a place to sort out my thoughts, and this works well for that. I usually leave feeling a bit more clear-headed. Simple, but genuinely useful.

### 5/5 — this is lowkey helpful💖

*2026-04-21*

Didn’t think I’d stick with it, but LiftTalk has been surprisingly useful. It’s straightforward to use, and you can jump into a session without overcomplicating things. The coaches I’ve talked to are easy to talk to and don’t make it feel awkward.
I like that it’s not trying too hard—it just gives you a space to talk and figure things out. I’ve used it a few times when I felt stuck, and it helped more than I expected.

### 5/5 — Better than expected

*2026-04-21*

Tried LiftTalk on a whim and ended up liking it more than I thought. It’s easy to get into a session, and nothing feels overly complicated. The conversations feel pretty natural, which made it easier to open up.
I don’t use it all the time, but whenever I do, it helps me sort things out a bit. Just a simple, useful tool to have.
