I was connected and setting themes in a few minutes. The videos are great showing how to customize colors and channels. The app is easy to navigate and it works.

Every update of the Light Stream app includes improvements for speed, reliability, and minor bug fixes. We are always striving to make Light Stream™ the best it can be and we thank you for your support.

Some updates include:
1. Numerous bugs relating to Schedule Time Management
2. Current time is updated each time you connect to the controller. 
3. Various bugs relating to how color themes are handled in schedule settings
4. When schedule setting is turned on, it will update the bulbs four times instead of two
5. Communication from controllers to bulbs have been optimized for more consistent results.
6. Other misc app and firmware fixes

Hooray! This update also allows for you to update the firmware on your controller for better all around control.

Please follow the below steps to properly update the controller firmware. Please plan on 1-2 minutes to fully update firmware.

1. On your iPhone, go to Settings / Display & Brightness / Auto-Lock, and select “Never”.  
(You don’t want your phone to go to sleep during the update AND don’t want to change screens, or take a call etc.)
2.  Ensure you’re connected to the internet.  
(Cellular data is acceptable)
3.  Keep your phone within 10 feet of the controller during the firmware update.  
4.  Ensure the controller stays powered on during the firmware update process.
5.  Select Update firmware on the controller home page and follow instructions.
6.  If successful, the controller will turn back on. 

If something failed during the update process, the controller will most likely shut down and be inoperable. In this case, it will be best to contact Village Lighting and we’ll promptly send you a new controller with a return label to pick up old one.

Please Note: You will have to re-pair your switches and bulbs after the firmware update has taken place.

Every update of the Light Stream app includes improvements for better speed, functionality, and reliabilty. This release addresses the issues users were having when trying to connect to multiple controllers and the app not recognizing which controller was being updated.
