While it has been mostly satisfactory with basic functions needed for us, it has gotten worse over the last few years. From a software engineering standpoint, there are many issues with it that I’m surprised their team hasn’t addressed. Firstly, they have not had any update of substance in the 3 years we’ve been using it. Bug fixes here and there, but no actual feature improvements of any kind, which is odd to me. The second and biggest issue is the server issues they’ve been encountering. In the past year, we’ve experienced 5-6 outages, with three of those being in the last 30 days. This has been a strain on our operations to say the least. A frustrating part of this is the lack of response from Lighthouse, as they never explain what’s causing this issue. As a result, we are switching to a more reliable, modern software with reliable servers and more modern features. ### 1/5 — Chews data & handset gets hot. *2024-12-12, version 56.0.0* Useless app that chews up your personal data. It also chews through your battery. The handset will get hot. Only work when the battery is on normal mode. Logging in and out takes a long time. Sometimes tasks listed get automatically done without your input. Though the option to select the proper location works under Activity Log. Crashes randomly for no reason at all. The text box you have to type in is minuscule, I end up typing it all up in notes and then paste it in. Only crashes about 50% of the time doing it that way. Uploading picture crashes it, location accuracy is non-existent. Really reduces the number of emails I receive since my customers are more informed about what we’re doing for them. Lighthouse has given us this and more. Very knowledgeable support team, fast responses to queries. They are new to the market but closing the gap fast on all competitors such as tracktic.
