How do you fix that? ### 1/5 — App does not work *2023-01-16, version 4.0* Stuck on a white screen when I open it, it worked one time but got stuck on the screen where you select what kind of nanoleaf you use. ### 3/5 — Good concept, but it’s the app that is the issue. *2023-01-14, version 4.0* First of all, there are resolution issues: half of the app is cut off on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This makes it practically unusable in terms of spotify control. This issue is only made worse considering the app does not work if it is not open/focused. Despite this, the light shows are great and look good on my nanoleaf shapes. Overall, the light shows themselves are good but the way they are delivered through the app makes it a struggle to access them. ### 1/5 — Should say it's a subscription right away *2022-07-06, version 4.0* 4+ year old app but only one one star review should have made me suspicious, but it was free.. I thought. It's 3€/month to play light effects on your nanoleaf. There are other either free or one time purchase apps for that. The author claims that his app is much better, because the light shows are individually created. I was curious how that is supposed to work on a setup that might look absolutely different than the one where it was developed on.. But even the free trial requires you to start a subscription. Looking really good!! ### 5/5 — As an entirely new dimension to Nanoleaf shapes *2022-05-06, version 4.0* I really enjoy my Nanoleaf shapes, but couldn’t figure out how to get the sort of explosive and exciting displays that I had pictured. The customization is great but it lacks something. Lightlink fills that gap by adding in complicated, professional looking light shows. It took a couple tries to get the app synced up with Spotify and my shapes but once it was done it just worked. Tons of songs in the playlist and more being added makes it a lot of fun. ### 5/5 — Super Satisfied!! *2022-03-22, version 4.0* constantly updated playlists, awesome light shows!! ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2022-03-07, version 4.0* I stumbled upon this app as I was browsing through Reddit one day decided to give it a try. There are only a handful of pre-programmed scenes available at the moment, but they’re all very well done. The rhythm module on the panels is very neat and for the most part works very well, but this app does music visualization so much better. There are definitely a couple of bugs here and there, sometimes the panels may lose sync with Spotify every now and then, but bugs are to be expected with something that is under very heavy development. I highly recommend this app, believe me, you’ll have a bit of a hard time wanting to go back to using the old rhythm module. ### 5/5 — Works great! *2022-03-05, version 4.0* Easy to setup and use and the light shows so far have definitely exceeded my expectations. Bei unterstützen Songs ganz nette Effekte aber mehr auch nicht. On my pc it also says I’m not connected to the internet even though I am with an Ethernet cable. Now I have to start again in a system that barely worked in the first place This app is not just unfit for purpose it’s like a virus that stops the whole system working and needing to start from scratch. Thanks a lot. The app also did not function when I tried to use it. Kink to Spotify? It froze each time and I needed to force closure in order to try again. It never worked. You can request new songs to be programmed by a professional to setup your ultimate playlist, or if you want more of a taste for the engineering side the creator gives a good starting point to dabble without spending $$$ on software and equipment. Would recommend! ### 5/5 — I’m surprised by how good this app is *2023-04-15, version 6.0* First off I downloaded the app and singed up for a trail I went through the songs list picked one and it worked these light shows pleasantly surprised me and the detail they put into designing these light shows match perfectly with the songs. it’s not just some light show to dance to it’s entertainment to a sense there really fun to just watch. The app is a bit strange you have to sign in every time you close it but at least it remembers your login details so it’s very easy, and it currently doesn’t work in the background or if your phone is off easy get around is to get it on a Mac or pc but I also just put my phone to never go to sleep and on low brightness and it works perfectly. I look forward to seeing the app continue to get even more advanced and hope to see the iOS app optimised more. I recently put in a song request for a song and they where very quick in getting a light show done for the song it only took 1-2 days so I’m very happy with that ### 5/5 — It’s Finally Here! *2022-07-16, version 4.0* I’ve been an owner of Nanoleaf light panels for quite some time now, and I’ve been searching for a software that does exactly this after seeing the shortcomings of the rhythm module and several other apps that try to do this. This app has pre-programmed, aesthetically pleasing light shows for your Nanoleaf. I highly recommend you download and see your Nanoleaf setup come to life! There’s so much more you can get out of your setup with this. And, if you’re into programming, check out the creator software that they have made. It actually allows people to program these light shows on their own panels with tons and tons options. I never write app reviews, so if you’ve read this far, take my word and check this out for yourself! Cannot wait to see where LIGHTLINK goes in the future. ### 5/5 — Amazing Light Shows! *2022-06-23, version 4.0* With Lightlink, I can enjoy light shows from the comfort of my home. I’ve also requested light shows for my favourite songs, and Jon (the developer) has been extremely responsive and efficient. Highly recommend if you have any sort of Nanoleaf products! ### 5/5 — Great App *2022-06-10, version 4.0* I just recently downloaded this app after hearing about it via Reddit and so far have been absolutely loving it, the way the light panels react to each vocal note or bass kick are astonishing and I have had much fun the last few days toying around with it. The only real flaw I wish would be changed is needing to have the app open on your phone which can be annoying when you’re phone automatically closes the screen the light show will stop. Given this is a new app and I’m sure they devs have been jumping thru hoops to get it to work in the first place it’s a very nit picky complaint but all in all I love the app and cannot recommend it enough.
