My camera goes to f32 and maxes at 400SS, so I’m having to guess iris stops past 16, which I often am past 16 in very bright scenes. ### 2/5 — Not for me, might be OK for some. *2026-04-12, version 3.0.14* Difficult to figure out. I was looking for something more intuitive. ### 4/5 — Good app with minor problem *2026-02-11, version 3.0.9* This app is simple and easy to use but one minor problem that I find very annoying is that each time I open the app, a dialogue pops up and I have to close it, the button for closing is not even obvious. Often when I need to use the app, I need it quickly because I’m usually trying to capture a fleeting moment that may only last seconds more, or I may be capturing something moving or I’m on something that is moving and need it quickly to measure the light and take the photo. And this is free, without ads ! This is on another level when compared to the other 4 or 5 apps I tried, including non free ones. By far the more feature-rich. The other app from the same author Logbook (non free) can be linked to this one for an incredible combination. It’s clean, intuitive and has good UI. I’ve shot about half a dozen rolls using this app and it’s always spot on! Compared it to a proper light meter and it was only off by a 1/3-1/2 of a stop at most. The developer also constantly updates and improves the app and I even love the messages/notifications that pop up.
