### 4/5 — Solid

*2026-08-31, version 11.5.20*

Im on mobile so it’s decent for iPhone. All I wish it has is masking.

### 2/5 — Poorly thought changes

*2026-08-30, version 11.5.10*

With recent changes I’m reconsidering holding onto to my discontinued Photography bundle so bad. The removal of “Recommended” community preset categories is single-handedly ruining my experience and what set Lightroom apart to me as a long time, self-taught photographer + editor. I’m a first time art student in school that provides Adobe, so I’m paying extra to keep it on my own. I don’t mind AI features but I dislike it in the title. That, plus my former monthly subscription discontinued except for yearly, was not enough for me to begin thinking about leaving but removing the filter categories is the cherry on top of a spoiled milkshake that used to be the best & only of its flavor

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-08-25, version 11.5.1*

I just downloaded the mobile app and it’s way faster than editing on my computer. Pleasantly surprised as to how easy it is to figure out as I use to use dark table.

### 5/5 — Convenient

*2026-08-25, version 11.5.1*

Fast and convenient for editing on the road!

### 5/5 — Self taught photographer

*2026-08-24, version 11.5.1*

I love the ability to dimple experiment with the AI edits. My editing has improved in quality. The time saving edits are a joy for me.

### 5/5 — -

Hhhhh

### 5/5 — Simple Magic

*2026-08-24, version 11.5.1*

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-08-24, version 11.5.1*

Excellent resource and great features!

### 2/5 — Completely unintuitive

*2026-08-23, version 11.5.1*

Reminds me of why I never liked Adobe anything. Unintelligible UI. Menus and other functionality spread all over and hidden. No apparent tutorial. Instant paywall hawking. Literally didn’t find any useful functionality at all. Skip it and use Apple’s built in s/w and apps from other small producers who are actually hungry to achieve. Dismayed at the good ratings. Unsubscribe & delete.

### 5/5 — Powerful

*2026-08-22, version 11.5.1*

Does everything I needed and some!

### 5/5 — Simple and light

*2026-08-21, version 11.5.1*

Amazing app! For editing all my photos.

### 3/5 — Presets

*2026-08-20, version 11.5.1*

Why get rid of the preset categories on mobile? considering cancelling for this

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2026-08-19, version 11.5.1*

I know Adobe has gotten a lot of criticism for their price hikes, but you have to admit there is a reason why they have a monopoly on the photo industry! Their products just work and are reliable and I honestly don’t blame them for a little bit of price hikes over the years, especially with the recent storage crisis going on.

### 1/5 — Downgrade

*2026-09-01, version 11.5.20*

I fell in love with Lr the instant I came across it. Helped me take my work to a whole other level & made me fall in love with photography even more as I watched my photos transform.

But the app has severely declined in quality as all apps do when tech giants prioritize profits above all else - user experience be damned. This shows quite clearly in the latest updates as several features & presets were deliberately stripped from the app. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement, as those features helped me achieve the edits I wanted when my chronic illnesses & flareups impacted my vision and I couldn’t edit photos manually, or I was running between my day job, studies & hospital appointments and I had little time or energy to work on them. The app used to have strong options & versatility. You had more choices to reach the vision you had in mind and getting to explore what other community members had created would even inspire an entirely new idea or theme.

But now the options are meek, to put it lightly. Barely any options there at all. Honestly thought it was a bug at first, but went onto the forums only to discover it was not only a nightmare to navigate the platform and report any bugs at all, but also that the change was in fact a deliberate choice by the developer. Adobe’s response to the entire situation was even more disappointing.

I despised the change, and it severely disrupted my content creation. Photography was quite honestly one of the few sources of joy in my life amid my health issues, and Lightroom went from being what made me fall in love with photography even more, to the thing that killed what little joy I got to experience in the middle of back-to-back medical treatments.

I cancelled my subscription and don’t see myself using it again.

### 1/5 — Update took away the best feature.

*2026-08-28, version 11.5.10*

I’ve used this platform for many years. I even pay the premium, but after the update on August 16th, the recommended preset library was stripped from the app. This was one of the main reasons I continued using the app in the first place. Price went up and beat features removed. Not worth the money now.

### 1/5 — No way

*2026-08-27, version 11.5.10*

Sucks

### 1/5 — Super disappointed

*2026-08-27, version 11.5.1*

I am beyond disappointed at the removal of editing options. Especially with how much the subscription is. That’s why I pay to use this app and unless they come back, I’m gonna start looking to use a different app for my photography kid

### 1/5 — App keep crashing

*2026-08-26, version 11.5.10*

It’s a good app for editing but for some reasons, the app got stuck at loading and keep crashing. I tried to uninstall and installed and did not work.

### 1/5 — Version 11.5 Removed Most Used Feature

*2026-08-23, version 11.5.1*

After the latest update (v. 11.5) the preset features have been completely stripped. The “recommended” presets have been reduced down to a single band of options. Which used to be an entire dynamic library. HDR, cinematic, etc. These options were extremely helpful in beginning an artistic flow path and could be built upon further. At this premium account price point, I will be cancelling if the preset options are not restored.

### 1/5 — Not As Advertised

*2026-08-20, version 11.5.1*

Only paid features available

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-19, version 11.5.1*

You can only use it if you pay for it ! :(

### 1/5 — The filters are gone!

*2026-08-17, version 11.5.1*

I guess the app just recently updated. All the filters that I love and use are gone. The folders of high definition filters, cinematic filters, black-and-white filters. All of them are gone. To me It completely ruined the app. It’s really frustrating because I love this editing app and I just renewed my yearly Subscription. I’m now considering canceling and going somewhere else. I would also like to add that I have been a subscriber for years. I absolutely love this app and now it’s horrible that all those are gone.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-08-17, version 11.5.1*

Cant add pictures or videos and presets don’t load anymore. Still no fix.
