## What is Lights Out?

You know the loop. It is 1am, you are exhausted, and you are still scrolling.

Lights Out is a bedtime commitment device that actually locks you out of your apps at night. One tap shuts it down.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Tell the app one reason you are staying up. Naming it breaks the trance.
2. Tap Shut it down. Your apps go behind a lock screen and a short wind-down begins. Put the phone face down.
3. Your night is sealed until 6am. Your streak grows.

Change your mind at 1:30am? The lock has one honest exit: hold your phone to your chest and do 10 real squats. The motion sensor counts them. Finish and you get your apps back with your streak intact. Give up instead and tonight is voided and your streak resets.

That is the whole trick. Getting back on your phone costs effort, and sleep costs nothing.
