Update: didn’t realize this was an iOS limitation my fault Dev👍🏾 **Developer response:** Hi there I am so sorry you feel that way! I tried and tried to find a workaround, however it is a known limitation by Apple because the flashlight is tied to the camera system and so 3rd party apps cannot access it in the background for privacy reasons. My attempt to compensate was adding the notice saying screen stays on during duration. Open to other ideas, but no, sadly, not possible to have the app run in the background my apologies.
