## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.14.0 — 2026-09-03

• Setup you can come back to: if your phone closed part-way through setup, pick up where you left off. Nothing you entered is lost, and children you added aren't created twice.
• Private lists are private again — only their creator can see them.
• Hiding a calendar sticks on the first try.
• A removed Google calendar no longer vanishes without explanation.
• The journal stays on the page you opened.
• Setup tells you when a choice didn't save.

### 1.13.0 — 2026-08-31

Your week view gets its hours back.

A week with several all-day events no longer squeezes the hourly grid down to nothing. The all-day strip and the dinner cards now scroll along with the day, and the day-column headers stay put while you scroll — so the week stays readable no matter how much is on it.

The roadmap now keeps a running log of updates on every item, so following something you asked for tells you when work actually starts on it.

### 1.12.0 — 2026-08-22

Fixed: on a new install, the household name and timezone you entered during setup could be discarded before they saved, leaving the household on a placeholder name with the day measured in UTC. New sign-ups now keep what you type.

New: you can change your household name and timezone any time from the top of Settings. Neither could be changed after setup before.

Also fixed:
- Parents can claim their own chore points again.
- The day view keeps its timeline readable when several all-day events fall on the same day.
- Event lengths no longer display as "2h 60m".
- Deleting a chore now closes the editor instead of reopening it on the deleted chore.
- Chore buttons stack and stay readable at larger accessibility text sizes.
- Google Calendar sync no longer rewrites every imported event on each run, and a calendar removed on Google's side stops retrying.

### 1.11.0 — 2026-08-20

Signing in on a new iPhone or iPad now opens straight into your own profile.

• Editing a list item updates the list right away
• Leave an optional note for a parent on any chore you finish
• Chore instructions and steps now work the same way everywhere
• Guidance on the chore completion screen is readable in dark mode
• Grade lessons comfortably from the iPad plan view, including in Split View
• All-day events read as all day, with the full date range for multi-day events
• All-day events you create now sync to Google Calendar as real all-day events
• Children see only their own points balance
• Deleting a recurring chore rule now tells you exactly what it will remove
• Profile accents and family calendars share the same 35 colors

### 1.10.0 — 2026-08-14

Family Mode is now simpler and more reliable.

• Reopens with the last active family profile instead of forcing profile selection.
• Inactivity no longer interrupts normal use; a PIN is requested only for protected parent actions or intentional profile changes.
• Improved recovery after sign-in, reinstall, and interrupted sessions.
• Fixed retry loops, PIN-screen layout issues, and calendar-sync reliability.
